Farewell Jesse Hogan
Agree, I think Joshy has a few tricks up his sleeve and I wouldn't be surprised to see 1-2 decent names as well as May here. And to think we had been chasing Gaff so what are these rascals up to, hmmm............

Really? Seems odd they would do it today and not at BnF or earlier when it was brought up? This is what I mean by not trusting what anyone says!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
He was talking about the year after, when his contract finishes and he’s a FA.

There's no pressure on Weid, he doesn't need to kick 50 straight up. 25-30 would be par, the rest around him can lift like Petracca and a full season out of TMAC plus whatever they have planned for that 2nd ruck. Weid 30, Trac an extra 10-15 and we're laughing. Mason Cox only kicked 25 goals in 24 games FFS.

Just word on the street mate. And I'm with you, their list is ageing and they have no star kids coming through bar Henry, Scott can't coach so just tops up every year to cover his arse, I wish them misery.

Tim Kelly will be at WCE next year.

Rumour File
Wouldn't mind the Dees looking at Townsend from Tigers, Townsend fits our mould nicely and a handy goalsneak also, pretty hard at it and squeezed out at Richmond due to Lynch.

Some funny banter in this thread, good to see!

I'm not sure why people keep harping on about value of draft picks and going to the draft, most want decent players in return, ie: pick 5 + whatever can land you a Josh Kelly, has nothing to do with the draft. I think you may be trying to sway your opinion by continually talking about the draft.

Couldn’t get a good run at it really, shot down with career ending injuries

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
May is a decent upgrade on OMAC and Frost and we need it. Lever coming back will start to look half decent, just hoping we can shuffle Lewis out of there also.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Great informative post, interesting. Brisbane big improvers with 12 and West Coast a premiership with 12 also, puts my mind at ease.

I'm with you. 5/6 & 10 plus swap of picks. 10 to GC for May & Kolodjashnij (GC has said to look elsewhere) 6, 33 & future 1st for Kelly (plus whatever it takes) In: May, Kolodjashnij, Kelly, (Gaff). Out: Hogan Possible but unlikely: Gaff At the start of the year Mahoney said we have room for 2 more upgraders, with the departure of Hogan, I think we are going to swoop hard in the next few weeks, it's game on! Also, I'm happy to discuss stats and players, but don't disrespect Jesse wanting to go home after what he's been through, I probably would've left last year. He just never got a decent run at it and us going deep into finals was obviously the icing on his cake. The players we bring in will be the foundation of our premiership tilt.

I have May rated in the 12-18 pick bracket as a 27yo FWIW. Hope we don't get stitched up and offer pick 5.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Is it worth 2 first rounds and May or are they saying 2 first rounders and one to be used on May?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
From what I've heard, doesn't have much of a tank. Not a notable goalkicker either.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Many people get confused as there was a picture of him wearing a Freo jumper when they were in a GF, was a Crows supporter as a kid.
