No change for mine. We missed out on watching Jonsey and Jetts lift the cup. I'd really love to see Daisy and Paxy do it. They thoroughly deserved a flag. I take Taylor Harris' quiet game as a bit of a positive in that we won without much input from her. Love watching Goldy down back. Shame we gotta go to Adelaide but I think we can go pretty close with the team that played today.

Yeah, the whole interpretation of holding the ball, incorrect disposal seems to be non existent. You'd wonder if it's a worthwhile tactic for Mick to tell the team to just try and bust through tackles because you're never penalised for holding or dropping the ball. I think we got our first free for incorrect disposal by a Brisbane player with a minute to go in the game. Anyways, super proud of the girls. A great grinding win. I really think the women can draw in a whole group of young fans if we promote them properly. It's a different standard of footy but still enthralling to watch. Go Dees

I thought Benny Brown made the big difference for us up forward in the first two games. I reckon this will go down to the wire unless one of Tnackers Weirdman or Fritz (I give up and will spell it like most commentators say it) kick three or four. Covid is going to make this season interesting.

Was at the game last night. Petracca had a pretty big collision with Viney in the second. He looked pretty sore and absolutely cooked after that. You'd watch him at stoppages with hands on hips looking wrecked. Then the ball would go up and he'd just hit the boost button again and will himself through the packs. Incredible. Geez Jacko and Bowey are just impressive kids. Kozzie thoroughly deserved that goal in the third. He'd worked his backside off through that quarter. A really grinding win but we had lots of those at the start of the year last year too. Keep banking the points boys.

Beautiful day on the Goldy so far today. Fingers crossed for a dry run at them and no stupid lightening stoppages as storms are predicted tonight. Having reviewed the Dangerfield vision, I'd have to say it's inconclusive. I.e. it must have been from about 2014 which was about the last time Patty was young enough to jump off the ground with both feet.

It's not just the soft free kick, I find it's also when and where they sometimes pay them. Where? Soft frees allowing the opposition a free shot a goal. When? When that team is getting belted. Sometimes I do wonder if those umps are just trying to even the game up.

I think I've got an insight to why Bevo was so upset here. Not only does the football cover up logos on his shirt but his right hand collar covers up the pal pedigree logo. He could pop his collar (which would suit him being the fence post he is) but both collars also have pal pedigree logos on them which would disappear when he pops it. He could end up in an endless infinity loop of trying to make sure everyone can see his pal logos before starting. Maybe someone needs to have a quiet word to him about getting a cushion to sit on at pressers and maybe a bag of dog food he can put on the desk to nibble on between questions.

Yeah, that was amazing. As we were getting beaten. "Smile boys, energy up!" Coaching from the sidelines and that postive re-enforceme from Goody was amazing. That first quarter smother by Kozzie was incredible. Viney at those centre bounces at the end of the third was incredible. Last quarter footage had me tearing up. Just beautiful watching the team on the sidelines once they knew they had it in the bag. Can't wait to be at the G tonight

Let's take a week to drive down to Melbourne For the granny rematch I said. We can stay at some nice b and B's and visit wineries I said. Ok, she said that sounds nice. Then all kinds of sh....t went down here in the northern Rivers We could still do a quick two day trip down. Catch the 5.30 out of Ballina and take you for a late supper in Fitzroy tonight I said. Ok she said, I know you love the Dees. Arrive at airport at 4.45, plane delayed by three hours. $10 a schooner and nowhere to sit in a packed lounge. Plane due to land about 11 tonight at Tullas (Thanks Deathstar). Off to the local bottlo, we're now in the airport car park drinking stubbies of Sapporo and eating salt and vinegar chips for dinner.watching the sunset through the car windscreen. she's a keeper

I'd agree with both of those ins and both blokes. They would be both super keen to cement a spot after last year. I reckon Tomlinson is going to be as bigger beast as Viney. So good to have this depth and hunger for spots.

Bloody hell it's a horrible site with the timeouts and also errors when trying to select melbourne supporters allocation I'd get errors as well. So we're flying out of the mudhole that is northern NSW for the game. We're looking forward to taking a break after the last two weeks. We've got our barcodes for GA but no seat allocation by the looks. There's no way to book your seats by the looks. Just rock up and grab a set anywhere in GA. Is that how it works? I was wondering what happens if it's a sell out?
