Haven't we missed someone like Kozzie adding five goals a week? And maybe Petty can play fwd going fwd. He failed miserably last year but today he's been good. Is Sparrow tagging? And I don't know what's Bowser did to prepare for this game but by golly he's been great.

Not always pretty but we've kicked our average game fulltime score at halftime. I'll take it. Some great individual performances ... especially Bowser. Back to his best.

But he redeemed himself. And shame on the poster that mentioned junk time goals just recently.

It's no wonder Fullerton isn't selected after that shot at goal. But some decent signs today all around.

Great goal by Tracca That kick by Fullerton reminds me why he's never selected

Not sure if your being sarcastic. But if you are about the fact that they manhandled us, I would not say that was their( Essendon's) fault, Sir. Our players are grown men and seasoned players, so if anyone is to be blamed for them being manhandled, I would strongly suggest to start there. Anything else imho, is just making excuses. And poor ones at that I'm not suggesting for a second that you are BP, but anyone who does, is a complete fool. Enjoy the game.

A fwd line that struggles to accrue 60 points each week with a back line that concedes about 100 points each week. And a midfield that plays like a group of headless chickens ....we are still a good chance to win.

I never thought I'd ever say this but thank you Essendon. You have given us the chance to get out from being the worst club in the league points wise at least. Go Dees. And I hope Fritta enjoys his time in the magoos.

Good to see the ace bring swung but not instilled with faith in some of the replacements. I think if we lose this , Goody definitely won't be coaching the MFC much longer for sure. But I think we actually have this one.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
I was going on last year's effort I couldn't bring myself to watch last week's game. So on that I'll give you the green light since I'm not up to speed. Mind you as mentioned in another thread, a garden gnome could do a better job than some of these blokes. Keep up the great support DJ, it's fans like you that keep this club going and will ultimately see us through these current dark ages. Your a better supporter than me.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
It's staggering to think that 15 of them are premiership players. And your right many of them are still in their prime or close to prime age. Especially Tracca and Oliver and Salo. Max and May are getting on in years and it's starting to show. But to be five and zip is mind numbing. Wth? And despite the pain of loosing out in straight sets twice how great was footy each week, with the expectation of winning? And as much as I'd love it to return, I'd be content just not to have the expectation of losing.

Might possibly worth a try with Jvr in defence. But Petty fwd hasn't worked at all. And he was there for a while last year averaging less than a goal a game and getting moved too easily out of position. Could we try Tmac there again?
