Our backline was fantastic. May had a few fumbles but took some great marks. Salem, Mcvee and Tommo were great. Bowey to comeback for....I don't know. If Tommo can keep that up, Petty back forward is easy. Viney has had some patchy form of late nut played an absolute blinder with over 30 possies and ELEVEN tackles. There is room for improvement with Kozzie, Spargo and Chandler. Smith showed some wonderful patches of footy in the 2nd half too. Jvr didn't dominate but played his heart out and always made a contest. Will be a star imho. Put aside our slow first 11 minutes and our errant goal shots, some inexperienced umpiring and we smashed the so called number one team in the comp. A huge win

Salo was supreme yesterday. He's missed a lot of footy and I think a lot of us forgot how important he is.

What happened? We pantsed the filth after they jumped us in the first 10 minutes. Take away the dodgy umpiring and our poor shots on goal and we won by 6 goals. But I'll sure take any win over the Pies. Salem back to his best makes a big difference.

I liked others sticking up for Trac. Poor Mason...you lost. Deal with it.

This was such a big win. We looked shaky after struggling against the Suns. Then losing to Port ..ok ...they are a good side. Our loss to Freo really worried me and I thought we would struggle to make top FOUR. We have taken no real scalps. Make no mistakes, Pies are a red hot team and firm flag faves. But we put them in their place. We are well and truly back in contention.

Jv had 11 tackles as well as being our biggest gatherer. Best game for the year.

Our handy four easy misses won this. Salo has been really missing in this line up. Well done Jv and Mg. Trac was awesome as usual. Tommo a rock. Mcvee keeps getting better. Such a big win.
