  1. Wheres Pedo thes days?
  2. As an afterthought on the clubs newcomers.. Despite the dissappointment of performances this year (and last) we have a lot of great talent that can really make an impact in the future.
  3. Spargo came back this year and his first 2 games were excellent. He then played some pretty average footy but against dockers he was much better. I was surprised that kick had the journey. Has been inconsistent but its exciting that he can play some very good footy. Maybe its just a matter of him getting more games and confidence. May has proved why the club was so keen to get him. Has the title of team's best player. Rivers is a gem. Looks like after a year or so, he will be fighting May for that title. Throw in Langdon and Jackson and the club must be praised for some very savvy choices. Hopefully this will continue and the club is also hard enough to make some tough choices and remove about 8 to 10 players at season's end.
  4. Hawthorn never cease to find a way to muck us up. Even when they are not playing them. It felt so good when the game was already decided to jump ship and support the dogs.
  5. Was great to see Pickett improve last night as well. Throw in Lockhart and Langdon and the club has done very well with these new additions. Rivers is showing seasoned 100 game plus players how you play.
  6. Didnt think Hawthorn would lose. My money is on the saints to lose and we beat the dons by enough to see us miss finals by about.01 of a percent. Nothing different.
  7. Nice article on Rivers in the tWa https://thewest.com.au/sport/afl/wa-young-gun-trent-rivers-kicks-winning-goal-for-melbourne-earns-praise-from-teammates-coach-ng-b881665234z
  8. He was much animated last night. Moved down to the boundary line in the last quarter. Embracing players and pointing ...talking louder into the headpiece. Pressure on him starting to bite.
  9. Just realised how big Weids opponent was in Lachlan Keeffe at 204 cm.
  10. There were a couple of high tackkes on us in our frwd line that were blatantly ignored only for the giants to get a few for lesser high tackles on them. Dont get me started on the kicking in danger.
  11. Watching the replay you notice things players do behind the scences. I know I have praised Langdon before but he is such a hard worker. Great addition to the club. So is Rivers. This one is better than the other one we had. Where is Rivers best played?
  12. Yep it will be very very hard to close the gap. Weid will probably have to kick 7 amd there is no rain. We will also need the umpires to do a good job. The look latter part of the equation is a big ask as well given how terrible the maggots have been against us. Our best bet is hoping the hawks beat the dogs today. I feel so dirty wishing this.
  13. I do hope Jetta returns to his old form. He has been an incredible player and maybe still will be.
  14. I thought so but the poor bloke cant get a look in.
  15. Should we play him at chf so as to take advantage of his good marking?
  16. Well done Wise You a few others saw the talent in Rivers after his first gsme for us. He is going to take over Jettas role nicely. A tough gig to do. Although perhaps he should play up forward.
  17. Well done Dees. Tx May Lamgdon Rvers. Oliver Pickett Spargo
  18. Well now we have to barrack for hawthorn I feel dirty.
  19. A chance for Weid to prove himself in the nect 6.
  20. Omg a goal from fritta.
  21. Its hard to win with umps like this.
  22. Weid 1 goal from the kast 2 games and zip tonight. If hes playing at ff he needs to be moved to chf.
