Always had a soft spot for tgr tiges. Long term co tennants and a big gap btw flags. Now they have dominated its funny how ive soured?
-
Could Hibberd be played up fwd? Tmac has been great and Im not adcocating him out ....its only 2 games though....., I worry about our inaccuracy and hence our scoreboard pressure.
-
Sure not their bes, but I think Sydney have been supreme.
-
Nullify dusty and it makes a big difference.

I wonder how Spargo would go.

leave it to deever replied to Craig Drinker's topic in Melbourne Demons
Heres hoping in 10 years .... 1 Petracca. 2. Oliver 3. May. 4. Weid 5. Kozzie. -
Hopefully after injuries subside no more fwd players are gifted games anymore with competition making them work harder.
-
I would replace Tmac with Melksham

Melksham for Gus for mine. Hibberd maybe for Hunt.

I hear you. However after the bulldogs pratice match, our injuries and skill errors against freo....Im happy to believe we are in finals contention at all. I know this may not sound too positive but if beat gws then I think we may make finals. If we beat cats as well then i know we will. Things are looking a lot more interesting with Tmac and Salem of old. Anb and Spargo much improved. Jones played well. New talent in Jordan, kozzie and Jackson. Viney free from injury and Oliver and Trac and Langdon reaching new heights. Despite a few dropped marks I still think our backline is one of the best now being led by Tomlison of all defenders.

Can someone please clarify where we play the gws? I thought it was at Canberra but when I google the afl states spotless in Sydney. I want to see Kozzie play live. Was it rescheduled? Tx.

Interesting post. Jake seems to have lost a lot of form over the last 2 years. But since Tmac has turned things around and 2 key fwds injured and inaccuracy issues, this could work. Hibberd if fit in for Hunt. Although Hunt was better this week. Otherwise back to the mantra, if it aint broke... And it aint broke.

I know where you are coming from Bn, but its a fine line. I have mixed emotions as a good cause is to say the obvious ...a good cause. I also get people see footy as a pure escape from stuff and dont want to think about other issues. Hmmm...my post has solved nothing.?

Yea they had a mini huddle after saints 6th. It looked like Max was leading it but not sure. Was good to see rather than them drop their heads and let it continue. Great signs of maturity and belief....often lacking.

After that ferral wc final crowd against us ...i love seeing wc lose. Especially like that.

Except for tmac...in other words the usual suspects?
-
His hands are super fast and his ability to hit a target by foot or hand was excellent. Tremendous workrate.

Agreed. I think the challenge of asking your mates if they r ok is a hard issue though. Sometimes people dont want to divulge or feel they are being "different". Tough call at times. In any case..its great footy is now an avenue for such discussions to take place.

Around the 4.12 left in the 2nd....Trac channels his inner dusty with 3 dont argues.

Great summary of game dd. I quoted Tmac grab as I thought his effort last week won us those 4 points. Last night he was less impacting but very solid. I wonder if weid and brown vying for a spot will keep all fwds working harder. Not to take anything away from Tom's effort I am very surprised he has turned things around including his turning circle. Pun intended. I do believe he could teach all the others how to kick but Im still buzzed about the win. Especially when i recall the orror run ee used to have at that stadium. Im starting to believe we could be 3 and zip. Thank you footy gods.
