Great post. Except keep Sw out of the ruck cos Lj is doing a bang up job in that area. Tmac back yes. We have the 3 best defenders in the comp then. (Tmac was an excellent defender) Sw st chf. All is fine again. All fwd problems solved.

Allowed Fritta to run into space and kick six.

Perhaps you jumped the gun a little. I think our team is awesome. Its not about how we played or Nm played. I do believe that Viney out is a big factor. I do believe Jordan is a great player. I just want to make sure that we continue to grow. The club has been fantastic stocking itself with forwards and defenders and its why we are so successful. I just want the midfield to be extra special as well. Im not saying its not. Nobody can fault our two champions in Trac and Oliver.Im wrapped with Kozzies efforts. Im just not sure that Gus and Harmes are great midfielders. I really hope Im wrong. Maybe Sparrow will step up. A small defender and a proven midfielder should be on our agenda given that Jack may always have a foot issue. Premier teams have lots of players knocking on the door for selection. If there is one area we can improve on with recruiting then its in the middle. Just saying.

I thought it would be Bbb. Of all our forward firepower I didnt expect Fritta to be the most likely to win the Coleman. He played with a dodgy hand and a knock to the head and booted SIX. Cant remember but someone here called that he would boot a bag in this game. Hard to nullify. Teams cant work out if hes a tall or a small. His awareness of the posts location is Batmanesque.. A few weeks ago there were posters demmanding he be dropped. Wow. He won this game for us. Sadly though, I think he will get a week.

Ive never thought about him one way or another. He did seem very much in favor of North winning but then again so did his workmates. Maybe its just natural for commentators to want one side to win. Perhaps an upset win would make the day more interesting for them even if they try not to be bias. Maybe they sided with the underdog. Maybe Im just bias but it really did seem they were supporting Nm even if unintentional.

Have we forgot that he was our best defender. He was one of the best defenders going around. Adam T has been great but Tmac may be even better. Lever , May and Tom is pretty frightening to other clubs. Maybe having him back is how it will all gel for us. It will solve all our forward issues so that Sw and Bbb can both play their roles. Fritta, Bbb and Sw is pretty frightening to other clubs. Maybe Tmac will be better than poor Adam down back and we are richer for it. I just hope Viney gets better soon.

I suppose the boys should be applauded for coming back very hard and winning by five. I guess that ground has always been a voodoo and Norf were fired up for a win. The joy is beaten down by Tomlinson...Viney and Fritta. Happy and sad. Three positives then... Kozzie keeps getting better and will win many games for us. Luke J the same. We are seven zero.

I didnt think Trac was too bad. Was not hammmering it but a solid game anyway. I would like to see Kozzie in the middle more. Luke J in the ruck is an added bonus the way he gathers at ground level. Im worried about relplacing Oliver and or Trac if needs be.

I hope you are correct. Im my post I did mention Oliver Trac and Jordan. Im glad Jordan is tracking well. I beg to differ though. Trac and Oliver are complete class . Absolute guns. When Oliver was quite today which happens never we were clearly beaten. Im concerned if one of these two ever get injured, given Jacks foot issue. Kozzie is a great option but as for Jones and Melksham I think you are wrong. They are not up to it. Maybe Gus or Harmes but they havent been great.

No. He has been for a couple of years. And I really believe, rightly so. Its not personal, hes just not one of our good players. People get frustrated because he still gets gigs. Thats all.

With hindsight even though this was top v bottom...North had a lot to play for. Gunning for tgeir first win. Their first game at their home away from home. Ben b against his old side. Our record at this ground. We were probably too relaxed.

Watched some replay. The frees against Max in the ruck were a total joke. Some umpires are just not up to it and should be weeded out.

I know we did well at gws but do we need to do things differently about interstate games? Last year we lost two crucial away games and played poorly today. Do we need to get there earlier? I guess we should underestmate that historically this game is like playing in Adelaide or Perth.

They were very unprofessional. Huddo with his premptive calls the worst.

The umpiring was very poor. Norf lose by a fair margin but get 25% more free kicks. Mmmm.

Seems to be an ongoing issue every single year. The club has been caught short on this issue. Our midfield depth is not great and they should have recruited more as its not as if Jacks foot is a surprise. You cant wxpect him to have weeks off and come back in and play at his best. Its very very shortsighted. We have moved heaven and earth stocking our back and forward line but been caught napping in the middle. Complacent with poor Trac and Oliver doing so much lifting.
