  1. That works in our favor when the cats realise they this game has gone up three notches and they are swamped by more pressure and higher skill levels.
  2. Agreed. Although an in form Tmac with Brown and Fritta is a better combo than hawkins...cameron and rohan. Which Tmac will we get?
  3. Trying to. Watched the 2018 final against cats for fun last night.
  4. For those calling Geelong a spent force....please stop. They are in a prelim. They have a potent forward line and we only just scraped in against them last time. I do believe we are well and truly the better team but we have seen anything can happen this year. We definately need tmac to start playing again and May to nullify Hawkins. But I believe this is our time fellow Dees lovers. Its been a tough 50 odd years but we win this and we are in a granny. Can't get myself to say that out loud though. And I get the feeling Viney will go to a new level.
  5. Minus the teeth marks for his attempts to reach the chocolate inside.
  6. I thought four week was the correct punishment. He misses finals which makes it more. However pleading not guilty.....i would have made it six.
  7. Much prefer gws without tg. The cats will be gunning for us after their narrow loss but we can beat either team.
  8. Our sausage dog used to have to wear his demons jumper/ dog coat for evey game. Sadly he has gone to doggie heaven after attacking too many people. (Should have called him Toby.) Aside from that just me wearing my old scarf which I think I will hang out the front soon. Here in Northern Wollongong it will be unrecognized i guess.
  9. Taken his game to a new level. He is much more accurate than last year. His forward pressure has been outstanding. His crumbing is mouth watering. He seems faster too. He's fearless with his high flying and most of his snaps go through. And has generally been flying under the medias attention all year. I have no idea why. In the final....All the focus was on charlie cameron who has scored about the same ammount of goals as Fritta and bbb who has much less. Had a bit of a slump a while back but has come into great form at the right time. Would love to see him one on one in the goal square more often. If Tmac gets back to his old form than our fwd line is as good as it gets.
  10. Two to four weeks...not six. Four being preferable. As well as an apology. He will definately get suspended. The afl has nowhere to hide. What will be interesting is what toby's club will do. If they try and defend him so as to play in the upcoming final the optics will be just as bad.
  11. Interesting that the cats...crows...port and eagles with their home booing crowds have a lot of frees.
  12. 25-11 in the wettest slippery conditions was a Godsend to the dogs and sealed the game for them.
  13. Yep has sadly regressed to Tom of last year. He was incredible for the first half of this season but after the dons game, his port one was his only good game, Since then has scored very few goals. In the cats game I thought well hes been out for a couple so fair enough. But last night in a final he had a total of four possessions....no goals and gave away two frees. There is no suitable replacement so I guess he stays, but he cant not perform in a prelim or granny. last night, It was Bbb doing Tmacs old job of coming down the ground and making a contest. Would love to see him back to what he CAN do. What a potent forward line it would be.
  14. Did anyone mention that Max laid SEVEN tackles? Wow,
  15. Hes there to mark ,score goals...get the pill. This taking a defender argument isnt really holding water for me. Maybe Im wrong. But what if they all failed to score? Not just that, hes dropping easy marks and hardly moving around and also fumbly of late. I love Tmac and in all fairness we would not have finished on top without his efforts for the first 12 games. Since then, apart from the Port game he has been the Tmac of last year. There was a reason the club was considering letting him go. Thankfully he dramatically turned it all around but its not just the last 2 weeks he has struggled, Hoping he can turn it all around again and the big stage of a prelim will see it happen.
  16. He is back to his best form since his concussion. His running and fitness is supreme.
  17. I loved it when they asked him about it in his interview. He seemed lost. That was a deliberate assault on an umpire even if no hands were raised. At first I thought a fine but the Afl must suspend him. As much as I want him to be in the team to beat Geelong, that type of behaviour just needs to be punished and done in a strong manner. Kids look up to these blokes and its a poor example to try and push an umpire.
  18. Its a bad time to be making this change though.
  19. I think we need to stick with Tmac. In games of old how many times would we see Tom run down the ground and mark . Maybe he was given instructions to stay put but yesterday he hardly moved. It was bb who was down the ground taking a total of nine marks. Since the Dons game and excluding Port where he was very good, Tom has really struggled. So hoping he can improve.
  20. Nine marks from the bloke. And your right he was unlucky with not hearing the whistle. He had time to play on if he had. Norf were nuts to let this bloke go. And I reckon we haven't seen him at his best yet.
