  1. I recall my mom taking my 10 year old nimble hands to grab a bargain at the supermarket before it closed for 48 hours or thereabouts this time of year many moons ago.
  2. Footy is a religion for quite a few.
  3. Absolutely but I just thought on current form he's been much better than Sparrow. Pickett was always coming in.
  4. Umps couldn't stop that one thank goodness.
  5. This umpiring is rubbish. Free goal.
  6. This umpiring is rubbish.
  7. Come on North.
  8. Saints have the best draw. 16 games in Melbourne. Last 5 of the season at Marvel.
  9. I just drop into this thread every year to say Hi and read Bitters comments.
  10. I don't blame him. He's a talent and wants to play at the highest level. Doesn't mean he's not a team player he's most likely very frustrated. I think he is better than the 2 players you mentioned.
  11. Your not alone. Real head scratcher this scratching.
  12. Don't mind Bt. He's the inner buffoon we all have and suppress for the most part. He can't.
  13. Good game
  14. Or Living next door to Alice for the Nt games. WtfiA
  15. Afls done a great job creating special games like today.
  16. Hibbo doesnt seem to have lost any speed. I hope he plays again as a permanent fixture. I guess Petty stays up forward. I prefer Bbb but I think Petty is good at locking the ball. Tmac may do more of the ruck allowing Jvr to have more energy and time to impact the scoreboard. I love Sparrow's hardness and strength but he should give way for Jordan's seemingly more polished with use of the ball. Chandler to remain after a blistering performance last week resulting in Kozzie in the middle. I'm wondering if those two can be swapped with Chandler being rotated through the midfield. Not sure. Since Goodys gone mad with changes lately, does anyone think Spargo could have the odd midfield cameo?
  17. Gee the saints have a pretty good fixture this year.
  18. Any Dees supporters in Wollongong? My son follows USA bball ( I have no son) It gets lonely sometimes not being able to gloat with someone.
  19. “I think he’s 36 now ... and I think there was a bit of a fight starting,” May said on SEN. “And he said to me, ‘We’re not getting involved in that, are we? We’re too old for that’. “I said, ‘Yeah, man, I can’t be doing that. Love it. Despite the fierce rivalry bw the two they can laugh with one another during the game. Both wise enough to put things in perspective.
  20. Thanks Ds. As they say, it's funny because it's true. Guilty as charged. I would like to add that when you have tried all these time trusted suggestions and you still don't feel relieved enough or made others as just as depressed, you can always talk about the Norm Smith curse.
  21. Apologies if this thread has already exists but I was wondering what the consensus would be regarding footy every night of the week or close too it? Maybe Wednesday night as well? I enjoyed the time we had 30 nights in a row during Covid but that may have been just a welcome distraction at the time.
  22. Maybe that's why it was named WINDY Hill.
  23. Worst toilets were Moorabbin.
  24. Really? How so? Was it an a class thing?
