POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
I'm not going to get too upset by last night's loss. Yes it was bloody frustrating cos we could gave so easily won it. But I expected a loss here anyway. It's some sort of alternate universe down there at kardinia or whatever that dump is called these days that despite their form, cats always win. I was really upset by the freo loss. I'm not too negative thanks to our big KB win. It's a tight season and we at our best can mix it up with anyone. We have a good run home and hopefully the brain trust can sort out our forward line. Yes, I said brain. Anyway, needless to say a win against gws is crucial. Get well soon Oliver. Also our injury list may not look huge but since round one we have consistently had key players go down each week. We will be in the mix come September. I just hope we have got sorted by then.

PREGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Starting to feel that Spargo is quite limited as a footballer. I give credit to his use of ball but he just doesn't get the pill often enough . He is good as a small forward although can't kick past 40m very often. But since we have Chandler up fwd with Kozzie, Spargos previously role as a goalsneak has diminished somewhat. Mind you so have the other two.

I'm glad that's over. It's always a theoretical win pencilled in for the cats played in that hell hole in the middle of winter. Let gfc build up their points tally down there , so we can laugh when they get smacked around when they have to play elsewhere. Without that bog of a home advantage the cats aren't that great. It's why they have previously bombed out of so many finals. That said, there are about 4 Melb players that need to really pull their fingers out and focus on their performance. Oh and can we please buy just one big forward at the end of the year and delist Tmac ( the guy is burnt and crispy) . If Bbb doesn't get a game this season, then I can't see the point of keeping him on either. Although, I'm starting to wonder what selection criteria is used at present, after an in form Tommo was replaced by an underdone Petty. I think we need to drop around 3 blokes this week, for team balance and ego adjustment.

Spargo and Chandler lucky to get games at present. Was Chandlers purple patch a moment in the sun. I hope not but he's gone very quiet. I love Trac but I don't think a player with his skill hits the scoreboard enough. As for the Grundy Gawn combo scoring effort, We are still waiting. Shut down Fritta and we can't score. Smith's 2 early goals were good but We need ANOTHER tall simon. How can you not see this?

Full credit to Salem. He hasn't played for eons. Comes back and immediately asserts himself as a great player. There are lot of players that could learn from his comittinment. We played some good footy followed by dome really dumb footy. Max needs to stop doing podcasts and focus on playing footy again.

Credit to cats defence tonight. Shame on our entries too. They shut down Max and kept him to zero marks. You know when that happens we are going to struggle. Sadly we didn't want this with many Senior players too doing sfa in the last. Was there for tge taking and we didn't. Could have cemented top 4. Petty was an absolute shocing call. Chandler out.
