in all honestly i would have to say little do, i would put into that bracket mclean, neitz, robo. They have visibly shown it to me personally. i awould almost slot johnstone in there. I know it might sound strange but he has been offered a fair bit of coin to leave but stayed and he also has shown genuine frustration at our losses. Dont mistake his sometimes inability to run. As i said at the start of the season he would start slow due to his broken toe and n ow we are seeing a fully fit trav!! Time to go byron and promote hughes(who i think has grown up a demons fan which mite help our cause a little!!!!)

Also on the one week he will spend another four weeks at Sandy before being considered for selection!

I just heard on SEN that Byron Pickett has been suspended for 1 week for failing to turn up to Sunday's game. He was an emergency. It also said he drank alcohol on Saturday night! Mmm running out of patience with Choppy!!!

holland has been referred to the tribunal to rough conduct, unnecessarily making conduct with johnsons face, but unbelievably johnson has got off. AFL saying there was not enough evidence or footage of the incident!! We cop it again it looks like!!!!!

incorrect, buckley had only one bad game at sandy, and was suffering from the flu i believe. His performances in all other games have been strong.

AS i have watched all sandy games this year i can understand why juice isnt getting a game. He shouldnt be far off though. WHile he has played six good quarters in 2 weeks his other games have been fairly average. Especially in the close game against bendigo he really struggle under pressure. I also manage to see the first qtr against coburg, as for frawly he really was only on for about 5 minutes, really not enough to judge, but im very surprised him getting selected even though he will not play. I think this will hurt a few of our younger players like newton, and espescially buckley and hughes who have put in several good games for sandy yet are failing to get recognition.

I'm pretty sure we have room on our list to promote a rookie. i believe its because we have 2 veterans in yze and neitz. Having said that i think the only rookie that looks like getting a game would be hughes. Neaves a ruckman, maybe if pj gets injured with jamar out with a hammy. Hayes getting tha sacked. Bode still a long way off.

SOme other melbourne players that were in the side, Bizzell, struggled. Was in the play a bit but skill errors were bad and lacked good compusure under pressure. Holland was ok. Did his job but wasn't outstanding. not a bad return from injury though. GArland, struggled as well. Started off forward and had little influence, was replaced by hughes who looked lively and was quicker and a lot more dangerous. Went down back and had a few shocking turnovers. i missed the 1st qtr of the 2nds so i missed frawley. The only other listed player was heath nevile. I dont want to be having a go at the kid, but what the recruiters saw in him i havent seen it. He struggles in the 2's. Kicking is horrible, is slow and not a strong mark!

He really looks the goods ricky. I would love another tingay. It makes me think we should blood a few more youngsters.

Headed down to frankston yesterday, It was a really good hard fought game. The only worrying thing was the amount of melbourne listed players that went to water when the heat was on. Yes newton kinked 5 but 4 in the first half, one from a free kick and got a couple of 50 metres. But he still presented really well. Ferguson was sensational again. Really is the most unlucky on our list! Jamar injured early. Buckley had a shocker. Spent most of the 2nd half on thebench. Played on a exciting forward. CJ average, didnt do much. floated around a bit. Hughes kicked 2 great goals. Started on the bench but was good when on the ground, maybe a smokey to debut against the smaller bulldogs. Neaves continues to improve and looking a lot better around the ground.
