  1. Lewis 31 telling possessions. Yep,he's finished.
  2. Well spoken. Non issue.
  3. Lewis contract heavily front ended. Has paid dividends already. Jordie McKenzie was on bigger coin in the last year of his final contract than Jordan will be..If he plays one game bin 2019 it will be a bonus.Club fully aware of this. Even as an assistant coach he'll be on roughly the same as Ben Matthews.Plenty of salary cap room for young bucks. This discussion is just about the biggest non issue of the millennium.
  4. Jackson Trengove for me. Much cheaper, restricted free agent and can play defence, forward and ruck. Proven.
  5. Really boring.?
  6. Um, Boyd,Wood,Morris to name just three and the Bulldogs flag was a one in a hundred year event. Betting u didn't even go to the game today young Rono. A recalcitrant from the old Demonology days.Difference now is that dementia is an added ingredient. If what u got out of today's stirring victory is that Lewis is no good I really feel sorry for you. Great day 'at' the footy for any true Demon fan.
  7. Let's deal with some facts shall we. Lewis was excellent against StKilda,Hawthorn & Essen Don. Serviceable against Carlton,North & Adelaide. Poor in the first half v GC but was instrumental in the second half revival. Not his best today but not alone. Keep in mind we got him for virtually nothing. Yes, on reasonable coin but so r plenty in the AFL a lot worse than him.I, for one, was never expecting a full three years from him. Even if he gets to 2019 and is playing in more of a coaching role it will be a win. Our club has been screaming out for leadership and this is what he brings.Watch out for his true value of we happen to make finals!
  8. So you'd given up. Nothing different. Always a chance in this one. Dominated second half but not on the board. Just admit Rono that you r glass is,and has always been, half empty. Sad individual.
  9. Wonderful. Focus on a perceived negative after a great win. Lewis' leadership is invaluable. Hell be back. U have a sad life rono.
  10. In essence I agree with you WJD, however, if May is gettable I would think it is a priority. He brings leadership, strength and a mongrel we are so badly lacking. At his best he would make OMac,TMac & Frost and others around him better players and free them up for what they do best.Yes, we don't want to sell the farm. First round pick is probably too much, unless we have stellar run and finish high on the ladder (unlikely). Prefer a player and second round pick. GC won't like that but if he really wants to go players usually hold the whip hand. $600,00 may seem steep but after forking out similar for Chris Dawes it seems like chicken feed. Agree, re second forward/ ruck and outside speed but I'm not sure any more vital than the potential qualities May would bring to us. Anyway, probably a moot point. He will most likely re sign with the Suns and after they beat us this week why would he want to come to the Demons? *Money on Lynch to kick 7 given reasonable conditions.
  11. Take out Lumumba,Peterson & Matt Home, all three of whom who won't be around for a lot longer and the gap becomes even wider. Impressive and exciting!
  12. Hurley needs to be number one target.
