Personally I don't think we have a chance to get him HOWEVER something doesn't add up with this line of thinking. The facts are that we've just officially inquired with Adelaide if he is available for a trade. It has also been widely speculated that we've been in discussions with his manager for quite sometime now. Why would we approach Adelaide if he wasn't open to a trade with us? I highly doubt that we would approach the club without confirming interest from his manager. Interesting times ahead (apologies if this has already been pointed out, I haven't read the whole thread)

I think if they had of spoken to someone in the PA it would have already come out by now, or at worst it will in the next couple of weeks. The AFL knew they were up to something so the word must have gone out somehow. It's bewildering

They were asked to answer one question which was if they were offered a drug which would guarantee them winning an Olympic gold but the side effects were that they would die in 10 years time, would they take it? more than half of them said that they would. Scary stuff

I'm convinced that our coach isn't that interested in having him on our list. The last thing we need is a fragile ego with a suspect body in our forward line, we're better off getting whatever we can for him and developing a strong and robust team

It's actually an absolutely ridiculous suggestion. Think about it, what would St. Kilda achieve by forcing us to take him with our 1st pick? One more player available for their 2nd pick. That's it. This draft is so even that it's not even worth considering it. The reward does not represent the potential risk.
