A lot of rubbish spoken already. A very good effort overall against a top 2 team. We led for most of the game. Billings played his role well! Max was supreme. Kossie was outstanding. Excellent pressure acts by almost every member of the team. I could go on. Disappointing to lose a game we might have won. A few mistakes in the final three minutes was the difference.

Its shattering that our own club's attitude to the VFL comp mirrors that of the AFL!

I'm convinced that there is no one on the ONE camera the AFL can afford for it's second tier competition! Its just blowing around on a tripod with the strong breeze!

Having seen the replay of Nibbler’s try, I have a totally different perspective. Initially I thought it looked like a dumb deliberate that wasn’t disguised well at all, but now I see how Joe got him off balance and he couldn’t do much else with the ball.

He was not so much 'overweight' when he returned as 'lacking tone'. There is a difference. The 'tone' is returning as he gets games under his belt. Ollie doesn't have the physique of Petracca, never did. The lack of discipline has surfaced at times... but not to the extent that you suggest. The slow return of the football was only a milli-second from being let go... Ollie was already swinging his arm back to throw the ball when the umpire whistled the penalty. Ollie took no longer than countless other instances that were not penalised throughout the round. The 60-70 metres that was delivered by the umpires says more about their lack of discipline than Ollie's. Someone else suggested that Ollie is 'slow'... Rubbish! Have a closer look before you pile-on with the Media Narrative.
