Bear in mind that he had a bad concussion in there at one stage.

Kinda surprised at those who are so certain that this is a mistake. I'm happy for him, and think it's a good decision by the club. Those questioning timing should consider that maybe negotiations have been ongoing, and that the decision may have been made some time ago but not announced of finer details worked out. I know of definitive decisions about the future of players at another club, that were made 6+ weeks ago, yet have not been announced.

Typical negative attitude that has pervaded the weak minded..?

Target.

I thought we'd have learned our lesson with Mitch Clark...

I agree on Collins, I think he'll be one to surprise being picked early, or in years to come we will ask how he lasted so long in the draft. But I also rate Plowman and Tomlinson more than most, obviously. They are about the right age to begin hitting their straps, like Tyson did for us pre-injury.
-
Seriously, is there any doubt? He's like a dictionary definition. I don't think that's offensive either, he just perfectly fits the type.

First cousin of Luke Breust, not that it means much.

We'd want his preferred destination to be a northern state where he has more value, and I pick him as being the sort of bogan who likes the sounds of QLD. I think some are overrating the value of pick 6, in this draft especially. I'm particularly unenthused about the options this year.

I don't think it is. Each to their own, but draft picks can easily be overvalued and players undervalued.

Howe & pick 6 for Plowman & Tomlinson. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Right. I thought he was setting up for the "fly away Peter, fly away Paul" with the inevitable "come back Peter, come back Paul"...but no. It turns out he's a bloke with a decent sense of humour, but unfortunately like many, he's a bloody imbecile when it comes to footy. It seems footy manages to sap the intelligence out of so many. -
Plowman and Tomlinson being given a run this week. Fattening them up for market?
-
Will retire.

I thought you wanted the team to win? But you also want him to spend time showing rambling rabid emails to the players? These things are diametrically opposed.

The thing is, hilariously, you are. You'll whinge and carry on like you're making some sort of stand. And you'll continue to "take it." But you don't even realise it. -
Todd Viney was a big fan pre-draft. Also worth mentioning that he was a Melbourne supporter, only in that it may help luring a player who otherwise may have no interest in belonging to MFC.

Wines is 5cm taller with about the same level of disposal. Try again.

Some serious questions need to be asked about our supporters and the media

MCC members are no more or less committed and knowledgeable than non-members. -

Yours is the embodiment of the attitude that I find pathetic. Just disgraceful. -

Once again, it's the supporters, not the club. If you could have one without the other I'd be happier. -

You don't even make sense WYL. You're unintentional comedy at the best of times. This isn't one of those. -

Majority, my dear old dee, majority. I'm addicted to the club. And I enjoy discussing the club and reading about it. The informed, considered and intelligent opinions make it worth wading through the drivel. But it is a question I ask myself frequently. The answer seems to be that the club brings me hope and joy, outside my normal life. I get precious little of that from fellow supporters, because they're all so bloody miserable. -

Seemingly is the key word here. It's all in the eye of the beholder, and most unfortunately have no clue whatsoever. -

Correct, he's talking about supporter culture. We are the new Richmond. We give our players half a season or so, and then we eat our own.
