My training report from Goshes: - walked past Mitho, Bannan and several others on the way to the G. Told them to have a great sesh. All looked to be in good spirits. End training report.

I said this to a mate of mine after the game, it was like they just let us get first hands on it at every stoppage only to tackle us immediately to cause a turnover. I still can’t work out why we aren’t looking for our first handball to go 10-15m away instead of 2-5m away as we keep passing to a bloke under just as much pressure as the first guy.

That’s really disappointing to hear. I took my 9yo girl and we had front row seats on ground level Olympic stand. She stood up the whole game to see over the fence, waved her flag and accidentally hit people and they were all brilliant about it, just encouraged her to love the team. All were under about 55 so that may explain the difference.

Taking my 9yo daughter to her first finals game at the G! Both super pumped. I've shown her some of the goals (Hannan and Melky) from our 2018 finals campaign and given her a sample of the crowd noise, but nothing beats the sound of it live. I'm getting shivers down my spine just recalling it. Reckon she will have a smile from ear to ear when we kick that first goal! Can't wait!

By far the best team across the night! Every time Adelaide has some ascendancy we brought it back on our terms and eventually crushed their spirit. Could easily have been a 5+ plus win, bust couldn’t ask for a better start to the season! Well done Dees!

In days gone by, if a team attempted to physically beat us up like Brisbane tried the other day we would have folded like cream puffs. Instead we returned the favor (legally) and hammered them back into their hole like whack a mole! Loving it!

I’ve been banging on about this for months, BBB gets absolutely smashed over and over again and gets doughnuts from the umps. One contest from a few games back I slowmo’d for my wife, BB was simultaneously being arm chopped, pushed in the back and punched in the back of the head, play on said the ump! Naughton would have had the free and a 50 for good measure should the same have occurred to him. I genuinely don’t think BB makes it obvious enough he’s been infringed upon compared to others and as such misses out on several he should get
