I turned, lowered my eyes, spotted a leading T-Mac coming up the passage way, defensive pressure made me go onto my left, I skewed it...hit my wife's newly potted succulent on her desk, the pot fell, hit her warm coffee, coffee spills, soil mixes in with this, on the macbook...as she is working at her desk she's not happy. Listen junior burger, I don't care about or consider his first five/six years as relevant. His teammates were a basket case, his coaches the same. The entire club was an undisputed embarrassment. Nothing matters in this time. He was improving, as the club did. When was he top 5? Roosies year? Before he was hurt last year he helped carry us in our first six or seven games. This proven by the fact he was in top 5 vote getters up until that point. He then got hurt and it all went south Pulled his act together late in the season and was one of the few who showed up against Colllingwood that last game. He was a servant of the club who put up with more crap than any other player in the games history almost. He was physically resilient, a reliable goal kicker, one of the best set shots in the game, and an an accurate distributor of the footy. the only player I can recall that could actually put it on Jesse's chest regularly as opposed to the delivery that Hogan receives now. Why was it a 'hard decision' if he was cancerous? What would be hard about getting rid of a dud. You don't make any sense. Just regurgitating 'skinfold' arguments. Fat as a fool wasn't he? Dropped for the pre season games you say. Was he named in the first week of that season? Strange selection for a cancerous dud. He had a sense of humour at an awards night? deary me. how dare he? Just to be clear. Harshly treated by the club. He would add to our current side.

I was a big fan. Thought Goodwin wasn't a fan from the get go. He was harshly treated by the footy club. A more experienced coach wouldn't have sent him packing. We would be better with him. But at least the worst possible scenario I could ever have imagined (him knocking us out of a finals spot/game off his own boot), won't happen this year.
