Totally. Plus not having Lever there to deliver the half time spray probably didn't help either

Jones debuted Rd. 17 2006 vs. Western Bulldogs. The then Reverend coached Dees were victorious by a margin of 51 points. 12 years later, he's celebrating his 250th against the Bulldogs. A win this coming weekend would be symbolic of the journey, for better and for worse, that this club has been on for the past 12 years. With pretty much one constant, Chunk Jones has remained a loyal and unquestioning servant of this great club.

We're now looking and playing like a team that knows how much 0.5% counts!

Wasn't intended as a critique of Pyke, SBF. Just a witty aside after a convincing win FWIW, I didn't mind the silent treatment from Pyke either

No changes based on form, but there's also no extra credit for naming an unchanged side for another week. The shorter week, the fast pace of todays game, heat and the fact we're back at that [censored] hole Etihad next week might necessitate a few changes.

At least they're saying something...unlike Pyke at 3 quarter time

How long until the 'Changes vs. Western Bulldogs' thread gets fired up? Do we even need it?

Unnecessary, FD

Great analysis Vogon, as someone who was also there I think you've pretty much nailed it. Particularly accurate re: Tyson I think. Very hard to believe that ANB and Harmes, along with a couple of others, have now gone ahead of him but it's probably true at this point. He's clearly out of form but looked to regain some of what we're familiar with in the second term. Still not a walk up start at this point.

Match of the round for mine. Pity that in a week where we broke our membership record, this game is being played in front of max crowd of 5000. Got a feeling that I'll be watching through my fingers for much of it...us by 12.

Judging by this thread we’re messing with ourselves too

Tyson is the new whipping boy, let’s face it. Looked a bit rushed with his disposal at times, but I would anticipate a recall after that performance.

Balic has impressed late

Good quarter from Tyson

Good call Diamond, either way it's a Grand Old Flag today!

TMac is ok, and WILL play, as is pretty much confirmed by his inclusion in the final side. Medical staff and TMac himself were being precautionary which is understandable on both their parts given TMac’s previous foot issues. The issue identified this week is not a major one, and the area in concern is different to the one that caused him to miss earlier this year. All are just keen to get him through to the bye round for a rest and reassessment to be done then. Sauce is as good as can be.

Hunt will be at Port and I'm thinking that Tyson will be too - the latter needs the game time. Hasn't played for two weeks now...

Fingers crossed for Tyson to absolutely monster it today

It’s the same thing as tennis racquets, for example, you can go to Rebel sport and buy a racquet that looks exactly like the one Federer uses, however as a professional tennis player, he has his own racquets weighted, tensioned etc. to his liking – same principle with footy boots.

Good call on Tyson, Werridee, and agree completely. I guess match committee don't though, looks like he's travelling....

That's the mail. Apparently he's two subjects away from finishing his MBA and wants to transition into a FD Admin role...
