My 3 word player analysis V Pt Adelaide
Harmes - he was tagging?

Petracca in a rut?
Spot on Jaded. Tyson was probably undroppable a year or two ago and like it or not he was recalled after shredding it to bits back at Casey. Now let's not get bogged down in the whole Tyson thing, but the narrative from Goodwin around selfless, respectful, team oriented etc. etc. seems to contradict the Match Committee's unwillingness or inability to send these selection messages to big names

Changes v St Kilda
Does anyone on here read the news? Hunt is out for six weeks...

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Bartlet is on MMM Hot Breakfast right now discussing the proposed Yarra Park training complex and also the Pert appointment

New CEO - Gary Pert
A close friend of mine knows Pert through being in the CFC coterie and personally before that. Some of the stories about that period at the filth are interesting to say the least. I'd like to think that he now feels like h has a point to prove and has learned from errors in the past. I did not see this coming. The mail doing the rounds is that PJ was shut out of the process, to the extent that he'd sought to background some scribes around town of the discontent amongst some with how the process was unfolding. That could prove to be apocryphal. In any case, I'm willing to back in Bartlet's judgement until proven otherwise

Casey Demons v Collingwood VFL - Round 10
Agreed. Match report indicates otherwise....

Peter Jackson's Replacement?
Wouldn't be surprised if James Sutherland now ends up doing something related to AFL. I would be surprised if he stepped down to club level from running CA, but that would be a real coup if it could be pulled off.

Williamstown v Casey Demons - Round 9
Where’s Tyson at? What has been his TOG today?

Congratulations David Neitz - 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee
Well deserved by the great man. Can only echo everything already said here, plus adding the absolute power of work he's done to raise money for MND and mental health. Seeing the amount of time and effort spent helping the Reverend is truly inspiring! He can brew too!

Changes vs Bulldogs
Oh yeah there's absolutely something there DJ. I think it's more around this year being about getting on top of some off field matters as a priority and anything else is a bonus. There'll likely come a point where his VFL form may dictate an call up

Changes vs Bulldogs
I don't think we'll be seeing Balic anytime soon.
-
Changes vs Bulldogs
I like it, FND! With the exception of Port vs. Hawthorn which is actually 9th vs. 10th anyway. Great pick up!

CYCLING
Ah yes! Welcome back to this thread. I've been looking for ward to this time of year to roll around for a while now, although after Froome's result last night I'm not sure what to think anymore... Now with all the one day classics done, it's time for the big GC's and we're in for a good couple of month's I think!

Wallace Urges Adelaide to Target Lever
Totally. Plus not having Lever there to deliver the half time spray probably didn't help either

Nathan Jones' 250th.
Jones debuted Rd. 17 2006 vs. Western Bulldogs. The then Reverend coached Dees were victorious by a margin of 51 points. 12 years later, he's celebrating his 250th against the Bulldogs. A win this coming weekend would be symbolic of the journey, for better and for worse, that this club has been on for the past 12 years. With pretty much one constant, Chunk Jones has remained a loyal and unquestioning servant of this great club.

What they're saying . . .
Wasn't intended as a critique of Pyke, SBF. Just a witty aside after a convincing win FWIW, I didn't mind the silent treatment from Pyke either
-
Changes vs Bulldogs
No changes based on form, but there's also no extra credit for naming an unchanged side for another week. The shorter week, the fast pace of todays game, heat and the fact we're back at that [censored] hole Etihad next week might necessitate a few changes.

What they're saying . . .
At least they're saying something...unlike Pyke at 3 quarter time
