  1. Bucks moreso made a joke about Robbo asking such a specific question because it allowed Roos to explicitly say no. Afterwards Bucks asked him (Robbo) to ask a more general question regarding melbournes offer to Danger to see if Roos could still answer in the same way. Seemed to be in jest and just having a laugh at how easy Robbo made it for Roos to say no ---- dang it beat me too it!
  2. A mutual friend of mine and Bugg told me similar last night and posted in the other thread. Seems he had virtually put pen to paper as much as possible without being official trade week deal
  3. Anyone heard anything regarding Tommy Bugg? Led to believe he's sorting through a contract offer here at the dees, not sure what to think of it
  4. Forever reading too deep into every single damn detail, with Adelaide merely stating "home to Victoria", would the club have any power into pushing him into another club? Adelaide stating they will do the best possible thing by their club, could they in any way convince Danger to go to another Victorian club that will gain them a much better deal? Or does it virtually seem that if Adelaide don't play ball with Patrick that he does squeeze into the PSD and make it awkward/difficult for everyone involved? "Come on Paddy mate, just go to the Dees, double your money there and let us get a better deal for you!" - only ever quoted in my sexual dreams
  5. They (fox) were already shaking brad/chris scotts hand, who happens to be on their panel tonight, congratulating him on the danger pick up. This virtually within minutes of the game finishing, pretty dang disrespectful. I know its always been pure speculation but with the amount of general acceptance the media has, i honestly have no idea how anyone thinks there's any alternative then dangers homecoming to geelong/moggs. Obviously there's the alternative that nothing is official til its signed in trade season, but need some riddles or something to try to keep this pipe dream somewhat a light
  6. would almost be top of my wishlist, but really can't see GC letting him go on top of Dixon/Bennell
  7. Added to that, managers love linking their clients to Collingwood, apparently just a mention of the "wealthiest" may raise the value or asking price. At least thats on theory, no clue if it holds any merit... >.<
  8. One day I'll stop pinning my hopes on posts from randoms on the Internet... One day... Or at least till trade week brings it's next set of ambiguous riddles
  9. So if this rumour gains any momentum, how do people compare his worth to us? Who is at an advantage if we looked at a Lynch for Toumpas trade? I am a little concerned that Lynch has been overrated by his stats, not only is he getting a third defender behind Walker and Jenkins, but he also seems too inconsistent. My extended family are all unfortunately crow supporters and all i ever hear about Lynch is the typical whipping boy frustration.
  10. http://www.sen.com.au/news/07-15/we-still-need-to-improve-list-roos This is the short hand version of his radio appearance yesterday. The FA section is towards the bottom but is also very very vague...
  11. WIth the 130 (?) page dangerfield threat not getting us over the line last year, obviously we just need to hit bigger page numbers on a Prestia thread!
  12. Just to note regarding any possible compensation through the loss of Garland, Roosy was on SEN this afternoon and made note of hoping to be big players in FA this post season, not just leaving it to the big clubs as they continue to get bigger. I wonder what kind of FA names are even still possibilities that would be valued in our favour, compared to the value of potential Garland compensation should he choose to move on.
  13. If Pederson and Watts do alright in Hogan's forward line without Dawes, dangle ol' brick hands up to Bris for Aish. The value for a big forward to them becomes greater than ours if it turns out Dawes isn't required, and with Frost another prospect to test before years end assuming this toe doesn't drag on Hogan back style. Could net us another Mid in Aish, albeit with question marks, without diminishing our other trade stocks to go hard for proven guns.
  14. Not a Free Agent yet I thought, but falls into it next year (2016). So this would be the year where Adelaide make their call whether they risk losing for standard FA compo next year or get full value this year through a trade. Would love to see aggressive plays made on the trade table. Obviously our first round pick comes into play, then toss in a Toumpas and even then maybe juggle later round picks to favour them? That said, all our trade power means nothing if we as a club simply cannot entice him to want to join in. Where is all this Sloane chat coming from by the way? I know there's been this call of saints on SEN this week, but wasn't it just a month or two ago Sloane was writing articles on being a one club player and hoping Danger stays with him in Adelaide etc?
  15. Let's just hope we can grab one of these 2016 FA's a year early, if the clubs fear losing them as for less compo the following year. Even band 1 compo to Sydney "if" they lost Hannebery wouldnt compare to trades this year, cant see them dropping out of the 4 anytime soon. Go hard Dees
  16. Works great for me, cheers Older Demon! Direct link for the lazy: http://imgur.com/gallery/erLXx
  17. First goal goes to Hogan...trying to keep expectations down still but gets hard sometimes
  18. I kept a bit of an eye on him throughout the morning, he spent the opening drills and warm ups running laps etc with the rehab boys. Once the main group broke up into their 3 teams for a bit of round robin match sim set up, Hogan joined the main session and just looked the part. He just seemed to play the part of a regular up the ground full forward... and I don't mean 'regular' as a negative... consistent, solid and great awareness for someone yet to play his first senior game. He also just has this demanding presence on the field, making every opportunity to be a usable option. Also makes sure to show his frustration with poor delivery, think it was young Brayshaw who while under slight pressure kicked a bit of an up and under towards Hogan, which gave all 3 nearby defenders time to react and easy spoiler and counter. Certainly wouldn't want to get between him and the ball!
  19. Websites saying Goschs is going ahead tomorrow, hope thats still accurate because I plan to drop by while in the area. Would also save me disappointment if anyone can confirm its back at Goschs and not out in Casey again
  20. I've also got some time off this week and was planning to head down to another session or two. What's the go with location, are we still purely at Gosch's? When was/is the sessions moving to Casey? Also a closed session can't really mean all too much when at a publicly open space like Gosch's, right?
  21. So with gws gaining pick 7 from carlton today does that open the door for the last minute tyson type deal, 2 and 23 for a shiel type and p7?
  22. Any chance on Geelong assessing Clarks value to them to be high enough for a Guthrie midfielder type?
  23. just in case anyone doesnt constantly refresh afl.com http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-22/door-ajar-for-paddy-trade
