Port are an interesting team. They are missing the speed and youth of Butters and Dursma. Their team looks slow in the midfield without them. I expect their form to turn around and Dixon to kick a few bags soon. I expect Port to be our biggest threat by the end of the year The Cats I still don't rate, but they keep proving me wrong. hopefully the next 3 weeks the Cats get found out

No [censored] way I would take Buckley on in any role. He is a dominant narrow minded individual who would clash with others. why else would he break up a young premiership team just to prove he can do it his way a gun player and decent bloke but I would go near him

Maynard is good. Hard at it and good intensity. Some of his recent turnovers from shank kicks have been concerning though. he is not someone I’d think of to target unless if we had to give up very little.

Clarko can go there for 2-3 years, earn 1.5M per year and then ease off into retirement Not sure Clarko would want to leave the Hawks in such a bad state though. He has been in denial about their list for years now, keeps trading in average players rather than going to the draft. They have very few young kids coming through

Would be a very strange time to give players a rest with one game in 22 days. plenty of time to rest. ~12 days off post Pies game perhaps there are some actual injury concerns

I only thing I would not is that some players are looking a but sore/tired. So it is perfect timing for a 10 day break and then the bye. Also because the players can hopefully go home and spend time with family to recharge mentally as well as physically. The coaches job over the bye will be to manage the player's mindset and to re-set as if we are 0-0. go hard for all games. we have achieved nothing yet. Given we have only Viney out injured and we have this rest period coming up, we are in a terrific position to win ~18 games and finish top 2.
