  1. Dogs have a few injuries although nothing too significant. We might be able to rebound well against them, 4 talls and very few small fwds. Young Jones kicked a couple in preseason and looked pretty good. A double blow to the Dogs' small forward stocks ahead of round one with Weightman and Jones both ruled out of the season-opener, and potentially longer, due to groin injuries. O'Brien has suffered another hamstring injury and will be sidelined for at least another month. Gardner is set to miss at least the first three or four weeks after undergoing elbow surgery following an incident in the intraclub in Ballarat. Vandermeer fractured his leg just before then and will miss the first quarter of the season.
  2. I think our depth down back is pretty good: Turner, Tomlinson, Smith, Schache (played there for dogs). If we weren't playing the tall dogs someone like Hibbo could have come in. We can't have gun defenders sitting in casey so losing a guy like May will always be a big blow We need an in form T Mac kicking goals this year and shouldn't move him imo
  3. 4 of our best 8 players out is far from ideal.
  4. T Mac only very rarely goes back and we need him up front with no Fritsch out We need to bring a full time defender in for May if he's out. We have depth
  5. May with a calf? [censored] off! although if they think Joel Smith is the one to come in, it shows how little they know about footy so might be BS
  6. solid ratings. glad they recognise Clarry as our best. better than the usual media drivel
  7. Is it concerning that more than half of us die hard supporters aren't going to the game? absolutely zero judgment for the many and varied reasons you all can attend. I myself was going to miss but for some good work misfortune 60K plus and ill be happy. 50 point smashing, ill be even happier
  8. if the bloke in the TV starts talking to you, then you can start worrying!
  9. thanks for sharing mate but we want to know if you are watching the game!!
  10. Fwd line looks slow and not mobile enough for me (talls). Resting ruck plus T Mac and Brown and no Fritsch is concerning If Fritsch is fit he plays for sure. And i’d strongly consider JVR for Brown
  11. my work trip got cancelled coz we have no money so i can go to the MCG on Saturday so pumped!! changes for next week: In - Dubdee Out - dumb work trip
  12. if he listed out the obvious top 10, no one would talk about it so he picks a controversial number 1 especially to get the forums going and it's working apparently
  13. absolutely should top last year. Sat night is the best night for families and with work etc. Hopefully we get 70K
  14. JVR in for Ben Brown, with two huge rucks we need more mobility Fritsch and Viney in for Harmes/Chandler/McVee depending how the balance looks. Bowey plays
  15. 18.10 is good kicking at casey - 3 rushed the team looks relaxed focused fit with plenty of depth. bring on the season!!
  16. with the immobile Ben Brown we look too tall with Gawn and Grundy. JVR should be looked at to come in for BB
  17. texting so many Pies supporters right now the early crow, what could go wrong?!
  18. was looking forward to seeing JVR looking unlikely for round 1 you’d think
  19. pity the game isn’t in melbourne, i would have gone
  20. man they are really struggling for ‘notable’ absentees from the Tigers team pretty much full strength
  21. interesting to see people read anything into practice matches. means very little. just fitness and getting bodies ready
  22. cmon mate! it’s the Fosters Cup. get with the times
