He was with the rehab group - l think - and training in front of me He looked fine ( he better cause he’s one of my favourite players! )

I saw Clarrie brush off a tackle by Sparrow and Sharp.

I asked one of the assistants how Shane’s fitness compares today compared to last season, and he said “ he’s got no hammies or calves,so he is better “. I didn’t pursue it and walked away. Shano was running all morning - short sprints and then laps.Looked good to me.

I asked him about the nature of his injury as he ran past me , and he said “corky”. He did a lot of running this am.

A couple of years ago a friend and I were taken on a tour of the club room .We were introduced to Goody - as he called himself - in his small office.The door was open.I reckon it’s always open for the players to have a chat with him.
