  1. When Kent played well I loved his contribution: robust, a good kick, a 'goer'. 63 games is 6 seasons tells you something wasn't/isn't right. I suspect his body let him down too often. I wish him all the best, like I say, I loved it when he was good, but for the Saints to make a 3 year investment reeks of naivety to me.
  2. The question for me remains: here's Hogan who came to the Demons when it was a basket case. They are now poised to be s strong side. Fremantle are not far from being a basket case whose coach has recently shown all the symptoms of a born loser. Why would you want to go back to playing for a basket case instead of a team you've helped to build up, which is on the brink of reaping what's been sown? I guess the answer, if he went, would be money. Sad really.
  3. All this talk is total madness. Hogan is essential to our next few years. Why all this bulldust speculation? Why///
  4. I loved the dedication he showed to the Demons and Casey. He played some sterling footy in 2017 - and 2016 - and I felt for him when he was thrown into the deep end this year. All the best to him.
  5. We'll need to be after the bashing West Coast dealt us on Saturday. It is time to draw a line in the sands of the hour glass.
  6. Please, no Proust. He takes ten pages to describe the scent of camomile tea. We do not need a literary genius who bores most readers to sleep. We need a good footballer. Hardly Proust!!!!
  7. Dunno what you guys are on about. Norf didn't trade Carey, why should we trade Hogan. ONE GOOD REASON.
  8. So we want to believe the dlickheads called unpires who can't even interpret most rules correctly are the be all and end all judges of who wins a football match. Hence, Grundy AWOL, Gawn AWOL, Oliver AWOL. I wrest my cases.
  9. There's still an amount of technical control. Sport is a totally different concept. I'm not trying to denigrate your input, I just think it's not an appropriate analogy.
  10. Not being able to see the scoreboard was surely a blessing, Bin.
  11. Live TV is not a game of footy. TV has rules, protocols and procedures which are constant. AFL, with its ovular ball...etc etc. I really don't like where you're coming from. It's not a case of clockwork or trains running on time, wow, let's compare avocados with cricket balls...
  12. Hopefully Toodle Pip, Dom. We can look forward to some pin point passes to his ex teammate when we meet St Kilda next.
  13. Agree. Also, note these figures: Experience differential Games: West Coast Eagles (2635) v Melbourne (2070) Goals: West Coast Eagles (2268) v Melbourne (963) Average age: West Coast Eagles (26 years, 100 days) v Melbourne (24 years, 311 days)
  14. Please tell me about one good 4 quarter game he has played in 2 years. And just because you're on a plane doesn't mean you aren't a list clogger. Look at Tyson.
  15. Please, no more Tyson, please, for f's sake...
  16. Great post, Demon 17. Too many hungry Demons on this site. Haven't been fed for years so no wonder. However, I really like your perspective, Kudos.
  17. Not sure you'd take Berlin these days...We now have ammunition.
  18. Great social commentary there. Yes, the misery of pokies. And, yes, Jacko had very many insights into the world. Still does. Can't think of any that make much sense to me. Ah, yes, Hawthorn, the centre of the AFL universe. Yes, I know that Andrew Dem lived in Hawthorn. I served him some Paracombe Shiraz while doing a tasting in a Hawthorn store around the time the Ben Cousins shite hit the fans and he tasted and raised two figures while he spoke. Man, he was stressed but he still knew what a good wine was.
  19. We'll fight them in the barrages, is that what you're getting at? I'm truly confused by your use of mind altering language.
  20. Who the F is Sydney? What has he got to do with it anyhow? Or, Sydney Who? Do you mean Walt Disney?
  21. We lost a match in Perth against a team that doesn't get been beaten when Darling and Kennedy play together. It was ALWAYS going to be a very, very tough gig. Not even the E Coli Wobblers could beat them there.
  22. Apparently he had poor pre-season preparation due to injury which meant 2018 was always a behind the 8 ball year. He does need to get his shite together though, hopefully he turns into a Mihocek, stops playing the list clogger role.
