I hope for Buddy to get well and return to the form of the glory days ( just not against us) I am indifferent to the consequences for Sydney of losing him. Nor could I give two hoots about how the AFL feel.

My highlight today was the pre-emptive retaliation by Brayshaw who was targeted by some plonker who thought he would give him a hip and shoulder but failed miserably when Brayshaw turned towards him and got him first. That's the spirit we need from the youngsters.

I watched and listened to Jack Viney closely at training this year and was impressed with his intensity and interaction with team mates who hadn't performed drills properly or worked with his passion. He demanded a level from his mates and let them know if they fell short. More of this please !

Horrible

I walked away from my seat just before halftime last week. I had to regain my equilibrium somehow so i blotted out of my mind the scenes I was watching a minute earlier.I walked past a rubbish bin and half hanging out of it was a Melbourne FC lanyard which I presume was attached to a membership ticket. I tipped the whole thing in the bin because the sight of the bloody thing tossed away but partly visible like that was too much to bear. Frankly it was the tipping point in a. hoorible day

We get upset about what we perceive to be poor results but rarely make a measured judgement based on this type of analysis. It's why when we turn the corner, many will still say "How the hell is this improvement occuring" Thanks for your input Miracle

I confess. It's all my fault. I went to my first game in 1965 as a little kid to watch the unbeaten Dees lose their first match of the year to the bombers. From that point onwards everything went to hell for the dees. I have followed them ever since and you all know how that's gone. I will fall on my sword now and remove the burden of my support from the team. I thought hell would freeze over before I made this decision but it's clearly the only way I can assist the dees and their legion of the deluded.

We want the truth to come out. He's a ball player. We're aware that we need to be switched on this week.
