  1. I don't care what any of these pundits says about us, as long as it's never ever " A soulless rabble, nothing more, nothing less" never, ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I'm coping well thanks. I've been on the big footy sites of Wet Toast, Collingwood and Carlton, just to give them a bit of curry. It hasn't been received well, but I've enjoyed it. We've been copping it for years and I'll be damned if I won't give any back.
  3. My wife has turned to power off at the mains once to curtail my lunacy. I was getting a bit overwrought and emotional. It wasn't my fault though it was some umpires fault.
  4. Jaded, I hope your " friend " is at the match this week. He owes us that much. He can go swanning around London any time. We have footy games to win.
  5. And the AFL are favouring Richmond to keep them in the finals race ????? Why exactly ???? We saw on the weekend what the Tigers have to offer. They are going nowhere. They have done as well as they can do this year. The cue is in the rack.
  6. Goodes was perhaps criticised because of the age of the girl involved. His action was lauded by most though. He wasn't widely vilified for that action but for other things he did on the football field.
  7. Nathan Williamson. AFL umpiring is not his go. Back to Western Australia for him. Perhaps he can umpire a game in Kalbarri next week for rural round. Then maybe get mauled by a rogue kangaroo on his way back to the car after the game. Not that we wish that on an umpire.
  8. As a rule, yes. Not so much when Watts or Garlett are having a ping.
  9. I'm usually wringing my hands and averting my eyes when some of our players are kicking for goal. When Mc Donald is kicking, I feel a sense of clam and hope.
  10. I could see why he paid that though it was as soft as marshmallows. A stupid rule. What really annoyed me though was him laughing and giggling with Bryce Gibbs at quarter time like they were old mates. And Daisy Thomas giving him a bit of advice. Probably something like " you haven't paid me a soft free kick yet. " To celebrate Rural round next week, umpire 22 should be sent to umpire at Nangiloc or some other God forsaken place.
  11. Let's economise and make the Tyson comment one word........." unsighted "
  12. At the end, when Neal Bullen had the ball in hand, I was screaming for one of the leaders to come up behind Neal Bullen and have a word in his ear. " Where are the leaders, where are the #**{>>!{{ leaders ???? " Well, one went to the half forward flank and received the ball from Neal Bullen to get 30 more of the seconds off the clock. Thank you Jordan Lewis.
  13. The AFL are corrupt, in that the blues fans are correct and we know they have never favoured the Blues in any way. ( oh except when they permitted a sponsor to pay a star player a massive amount of cash outside the salary cap (Visy/ Judd ) but denied Melbourne the chance to do the same to retain a good player at our club ( Scully ) oh yeah, the AFL are totally unfair to Carlton. What else would we expect these drones to say ????
  14. It's a comeback......... can the Tigers still win it ???? ps This is Montagna's last season.
  15. Oh Dusty, that was a St Kilda player !!!!! Is that a goal assist for Dusty ????
  16. Surely won't be scrubbed out for that. The AFL won't countenance such an impotent player being suspended.
  17. Have we ever made those comments about any of our players ????? I can't recall it. Mind you I have a shocking memory.
  18. I don't care what else happens, just don't send Vince to Cripps !!!! I went to that tragic Melbourne vs Carlton match late last year and looked at who was standing next to Cripps. When I saw Bernie go to him, I thought...... ok that's the end of Cripps. Well, as we know, Cripps had an absolute blinder and Bernie was unsighted. Let's not have a repeat of that.
  19. Frankly I could never understand the hatred for Jack by oppo fans over the years. It was totally out of context. Perhaps it was because he was a top draft pick in a poorly performing team and an easy target. One thing which has become absolutely clear over the last couple of years is that he has talent to burn and that he is a tremendous individual to boot. Well spoken, self confident, humble and intelligent. One of the most important people at the club.
  20. If I remember correctly, Jake King would kick a miracle goal from the boundary line every time Richmond played Melbourne ( usually from about 40 metres out )
