[censored] lol at Richmond supporters saying we are insufferable.
They are a bunch of abusive drunk bozos. I’ve been to games before where they were winning and I felt genuinely unsafe.
Even on the train home last night, a few drunk Richmond fans were trying to start something.
Low class bogans. They'll be back to baking rats and belting the missus in no time. Fortunately there are plenty of rats available in Richmond.

I would give Pickett a rest after the impact on his knee at one stage last night

Very little between Tiges and us, although our strengths are different.
Our goal kicking is massively important .
I reckon this game will be won/lost in key moments, and that is all that will separate the 2 teams at the final siren.
To win this game we need to restrict Tigers to 10-12 goals and take our chances
No more important game to apply maximum forward pressure

Should be done ritually in the centre circle of the MCG - maybe raised on a pitchfork?? Then we could borrow one of the Hawthorn President’s fiery cauldrons from Crown Casino and complete the ultimate exorcism.
I' m just getting a bit nervous now. I've only owned up to causing the MFC to be s...house for 56 years. Is that a capital offence ????
Any chance for clemency? I'm almost up to 50 years MCC membership. I can't go yet !!

We were 10 points up at half time and with only 1 fit player on the bench, increased our lead to 20 points at 3/4 time.
All the tokens had been spent and Riewoldt got off the leash in the last quarter, and we couldn't hold them out.
We controlled that game up to 3/4 time as I pointed out to a couple of Tiger fans in the train on the way home.
Your average Richmond supporter would not acknowledge this or remember it this way of course.
Some things you never forget and this game is emblazoned on my memory

A sacrifice for the common good ?
No sacrifice is too great for a chance to hold the Holy Grail.
I will do it after the dees win a flag or two weeks after Hell freezes over, whichever comes first.

1965 is also the last time we started a season 6-0.
I hate to mention this but my first time at the football was going to that round 9 match with my brother, a St Kilda supporter. He was 11 and I was 8. I decided I would follow the Dees because they were the reigning premiers.
My first visit to the footy was the beginning of the subsequent disaster for the club.
I am the jinx. I am the curse. I am responsible for everything bad that has happened to the club since.
I see it clearly now !!!!
Sorry !

Very eloquent is Tom, and he made a lot of sense as heard through the mike. Not that the umpire would ever be expected to listen.
You might as well talk to the cat !!
You'll get no sensible reply from an umpire !!

It took us 3 quarters to get on top of the Hawks.
Not good enough !!

No doubt Jetta has been on the brink all season, but I’m not calling him finished. Long way to go in the season yet.
And Burgoyne is also at least 8 years older than Jetta, so Jettas got plenty of time left

A shame for mine. He claims to have genuine regret for his actions. I would have liked to see him become a spokesman & educate young players coming into the system on how to relate to women properly.
Good to see that he's remorseful. On the other hand you can't put him up as an example of someone who could demonstrate to others how to relate to women properly. On exposed form this seems like something he couldn't possibly be capable of doing.
All men can learn from his ill considered actions and women would be better off as a result

Over on big footy the Saints board is banning and deleting angry, critical posts lol.
That’ll fix everything.
I've never heard of an angry or critical Saints fan
Is that a thing ???

Don’t like shaming a lack of knowledge, but not knowing who TISM is might be grounds for handing in your citizenship.
On topic, I would’ve loved it no matter who it was. The fact it was Duckwood was, as Bruce would say, delicious.
I know who TISM is but I can't name any songs so I'm not totally ignorant but I'm quite ignorant

I understand that most people think it was accidental on Hawkins behalf (I’m not so sure given the blokes record) but even if it was unintentional isn’t there some duty of care from Hawkins not to throw a wild elbow? The fact that it no doubt caused concussion plus a head fracture surely he should be up at the tribunal?
Personally I’d give him 3 weeks but that could be because of my Geelong hateYou hate Geelong FND ??? You are a good judge and totally justified in hating those mongrels !!

Can anybody find out when we were last 5 and 0 to start a season?
I remember us winning the first 8 or 9 games in 1965 before losing to the bombers at the MCG. From that point onwards things went somewhat pear shaped.

Our running game is non existent, gotta figure out how to get it going in the 2nd quarter.”
“We had them on toast and let the pressure off by lairising, turning the ball over ... Brad Hill... are you serious?”
“Who's playing on fritch ?” (posted three times)
“Clark has been abducted by aliens and replaced with a zombie clone.”
“Lucky Melbourne can't kick straight or we'd be getting belted.”
“Imagine picking McCartin over Petracca?”
“Clearly we were out played not by umpires calls they were just too good on he night & I agree they should have won by a lot more . we need to get better”
Some lucid and coherent thoughts here. Are we certain these observations were made by St Kilda supporters??
