WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
My issue was not with your reasoning or conclusions. Your argument that if anyone disagreed they should re read your post as if you could not be wrong, that was my point. Your conclusion being that your assumptions are beyond reproach. In order to reach your conclusions you have made educated guesses. You may well be right. Your "If you think otherwise, please read this post again." does not leave room for a contrary point of view and reeks of arrogance. The problem with guessing the WADA outcome is the lack of precedent. The issue that many MFC supporters seem to have is that there is an unknown risk associated with Melksham and a desire that we are not disadvantaged for another clubs wrong doing. Edit: spelling

I don't think that Sydney could afford to get rid of Franklin. I imagine they would have to subsidise his pay for 8 years? And that would remain in their salary cap. No one else would match Franklin's Sydney contract on damaged goods. I'm with you Beeb, pass on Franklin. I would take Tippet or Reid.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM

Over reaction by many here. 1 If any trade is offered I would be surprised if the club did not have a WADA clause (Not Santa) ie. EFC to pay all his wages during any period of penalty to be included in their cap. 2 MFC would not offer much maybe 3rd rounder or into PSD 3 No deals are done yet, so chill.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Maybe Paul Roos would like to trade supporter base. We are far too negative. Try dishing up the last few weeks to Richmond, Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn, Adelaide, Port Adelaide, WestCoast supporters. Your head would be on a stick. Blame the supporters all you like, we haven't failed the club because we are still paying membership. What about you? Would you be happy to show the last 3 weeks of MFC games as the mark you have left on football? The insipid performances of the players the last 3 weeks is a direct result of Paul Roos not the supporters. Man up, make the tough decisions show some god damn spine, and then the players might. Until then the supporters keep this club going and don't you forget it.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Ask him how much he wants to earn over his football career. Then simply fill in the number of years. I'm guessing a young man would like $10million On a one club entire career basis that would be a bargain. Front and rear end the contract and away we go. $2mill $1mill $700kl $700k $600k $600k $700k $700kl $1mill $2mill - Delistings/trades at end of the season
