The club is genuinely excited about him as a prospect, but as a 17 year old he would be 4-5 years minimum away from being able to play any meaningful role in the ruck.

Good footballer. Highly skilled, quick. But very small. Not sure he has the tricks that a player of his heights needs for AFL level.

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL Qualifying Final

I was told every MFC player was heading down to Casey today on convey after training. (Could be wrong?) I wonder if the Geelong players are there? -
I understand the dislike of North, but how can you call them underachieving in one breath, and then say he would be mad not to come to us in the next? Sure, we have a fabulous young list with a bright future, but we’ve done nothing for a long time. North finished 2 games behind us and have some exciting young players. If Gaff is offered $400,000 a year more by North, where do you reckon he is going?

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL Qualifying Final

Is there a need to hold players over though? For example, Mitch Hannan could gain approval to play this week from the AFL because he didn't play seniors in round 23. But will the club hold him over as he will only have a 6 day break between games if he plays against Geelong?? -
Casey Demons v Williamstown - Round 21

It's not uncommon for players to do very little the day before a game at the 'Demons' Run'. However, the fact that JKH and Bugg were both there and therefore, not playing for Casey suggests someone might be under cloud. I.e. Hannan. -
JKH and Pedo are over there.

Andrew Gaff told you that?

Box Hill Hawks v Casey Demons - Round 20

24 players in Perth. No Hogan, Viney, Stretch, Maynard, Vince, Balic, Hunt, Baker, Joel Smith. It's hardly surprising that we are struggling against good oppostion. -

They're saying on the telecast that Casey had whatever advantage there was with the wind? -

Casey Demons going in with 13 VFL-listed players against Box Hill Hawks, with Cam Pedersen and Jay Kennedy-Harris hold-overs for Melbourne. -

He did his hammy and hardly played yesterday, is my understanding. -

Does anyone think that we'll be playing JKH in September (if we get there) ahead of Hannan or Kent??? -

Do you think we will offer him a contract? -
I enjoy a punt on the nags, not so much the footy. How anyone can back against their side, regardless of the odds is beyond me.

As good as Pedo has been there is no way he comes into that defense for Smith. They are completely different players. Pedo would leave us way too top heavy against that Swan’s forward line. I’d roll the dice on Hunt but have a feeling they’ll swing Fritsch back and play Melksham/Jones/JKH on those wings.

@Drunkn167 Hand on heart, do you think if given the opportunity that Dec has what it takes to be an AFL footballer? I've seen enough to know he is a fantastic VFL defender. Any thoughts or you just want to see him get a chance? -
Frost - has been important Hogan - playing hurt

Gossage said just two weeks ago that Adam Cerra from Fremantle was very gettable at the end of the year, even though contracted. Fremantle and Cerra's manager all came out soon afterwards and said Cerra was looking to extend his contract. Gossage was made to look a right dill.

Out - Stretch (Inj) J.Smith In - Vince, Baker

I thought Jordan Lewis showed improved intensity and was pretty good.

Is Jeffy Garlett just trade bait now?
Tough Kent replied to YesitwasaWin4theAges's topic in Melbourne Demons
If the coaching staff are waiting for Jeffy to tear a VFL game apart on those wind swept, pocket sized grounds then they may as well move him on. Jeffy is a class player who warrants a good defender. Really can’t see what you lose by playing him. -
Jordan Lewis wouldn’t want too many people to see that video. Do you think Goodwin would have the gonads to send him back to Casey to work on his effort when he doesn’t have the footy???

But Gaff is no good. Just ask these coaches from the Eagle's game on Saturday in a losing side. ADELAIDE v WEST COAST 9.Taylor Walker (Adel) 9.Sam Jacobs (Adel) 6.Andrew Gaff (WC) 3.Rory Laird (Adel) 2.Matt Crouch (Adel) 1.Mark Hutchings (WC)
