Robert Walls hasn't done us any favours in retaining McCartney after the snow job he did on Worsfold in today's Age. Mind you, I think he is right about his evaluation.

Can't see it happening with M Jones and Terlich. They have been in the system for a long time now without improvement. Matt lacks awareness, can't put the ball to advantage and rarely kicks a goal. His kicks really lack penetration. I really can't see how he keeps going around.

I'm not sure the modern game requires 2 gorilla forwards. It seems to me it is the era of the small/medium forward with a ruckman that can go forward as necessary.
