She would have been disappointed

As an antidote to the Essendrug crap it's nice to read something positive - Max Bailey volunteering to work with the Masai in Tanzania for 12 months with Future Warriors. Good on him and I hope he gets heaps of support. Tomic and Kyrgios take note.

Can anyone remember what number he wore and if he was related to Graeme Osborne, number 7, who played at the same time.

Grimes and Lumumba - more opportunity?

I doubt the Prince will be ready by round 1. He has been with the rehab group the whole of the preseason so far. Grimes for mine.- 9 replies

Thought the ABC weren't able to air paid political advertisements

Hird went to Dr CAS and got a giant suppository.

I certainly won't be watching this drivel. Stage managed spin orchestrated by Hird et al. Thought Tracey Holmes was better than this. Not good use of the public broadcasters time and resources.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
chook fowler replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
I was a bit surprised when Lloyd on Footy Classified said that the Dees wouldn't be disadvantaged because Melksham is just a depth player. I don't think that is how we see it- you don't give depth players 4 year contracts. Smacks of sour grapes to me. Lloyd hasn't disconnected enough from Essendrug to provide credible commentary -
Never short of an opinion is Jeffy e.g. Clarkson should move on from Hawthorn several years ago, Hawks had the Cats mental measure, Demons should relocate. Likes the sound of his own voice.
-
I can't understand the players legal position. This judgement finds them guilty of being implicated in the doping either by omission or commission so I am not sure they will have a leg to stand on.
-
Dipper - he could occupy the whole centreline
-
Seriously, Robbo is slurred and almost incoherent. Wonder why?
-
Think that's his cataracts
-
That would be another case of doping.
-
Surely Hird and Reid should bear the brunt of this and receive lifetime bans. Anything less would be unjust.

I hope Howe is as good for Collingwood as Dawes and the Prince have been for us.

Just watched that quarter and found it a good reminder of how well our list is shaping up with White, Harmes and O. Mac all showing plenty. Also realised what a beast Maxxy Gawn is - could well be our most important player next to Hogan. -

How Liam Pickering is given airtime escapes me. Nothing he says is worth listening to. -

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN

looks to have it all - good hands, speed and agility, good kick on both sides. May well have been the reason we cashed in next years pick. Can't wait to see Sam and Hogan together on our forward line. Delicious! -

I can't think of a worse sport to engage in when recovering from an ACL - twisting, rapid acceleration/deceleration and jumping high, coming down hard on the knee. He was lucky to get away with a minor foot fracture. I think the Club has every right to be pizzed off.
