It's not an obsession with a priority pick, it's an interest in forward planning, since its one of the few things we as supporters have to look forward to, that will have an influence on the club's success. You think a player who does that wrong thing shouldn't be pulled up for it? Examples shouldn't be made to the group? Demands for better performances should cease? There's a way of doing it that would get results. Neeld's way was not that way. It's exactly what a strong coach would do.

I'd also happily trade minidraft picks for top end picks this year. I firmly believe we'd never get equivalent value in terms of mature players, and that we should look for these older players in FA and other trades. Mini-draft for young top-end talent; trade/FA for need.
