“I believe the calf is not as bad as some doomsayers are suggesting and that he may be running as early as tomorrow,” he (Garry Lyon) told SEN Breakfast. “He’s still got a lot of work to do obviously, he’s a mile away from getting back into it. “There were reports when he did the calf that this what it and it was the end and all that sort of stuff, but it’s my understanding that he could be running tomorrow.”

These are my most pleasing aspects of this preseason too.

Saw him walking towards the Tan earlier and then later he was standing around in the cordoned off players and staff area on the AAMI Park side of the ground. Doesn’t appear to be doing any work with the rehab group today.

In my unprofessional opinion I would say very close. Going full pace. Appears to be sitting the mandatory time out from procedure.

No Kossie Pickett out there today either.

Fritsch has a nasty corky on his hammy/thigh.

Spargo, Tomlinson & Fritsch wearing training guernseys in rehab so will probably join main group for some drills. Other rehabbers in regular sports gear.
