The start of Clarkson's tenure at North Melbourne has been delayed.
"Brisbane is considering whether to temporarily stand down senior coach Chris Fagan pending the results of an investigation into allegations of treatment of Indigenous players at Hawthorn. Former Hawks staffer Fagan has been devastated and blindsided by the allegations and he has told he has no knowledge of the meetings that have been alleged by former Hawthorn indigenous players. Those allegations include a player being told he and his partner should terminate a pregnancy. But as the Lions work through the fallout the Herald Sun understands one possibility is standing him down until the investigation is complete and the findings returned."
