Neitz

Interested in opinions.

Suprised to see that Neitz is not at least tried at CHB. Surely his presence alone would be worth a try. What is left to lose?

I just think experience in the backline is a better option than keeping him forward where he is doing very little.

Could everyone plz stop potting Neitz as in my eyes he is the only one of our so-called "leaders" that has any pride in the jumper he plays in. The commitment of others should be questioned. Neitz is getting the most out of his body.

Far from "potting", I think his experience would be beneficial to our young kids in defence. Just wondered what others thought.

IMO, Mistakes in attack do not cost you as much as mistakes in defence.

Neitz is being unfairly critisiced on this board of late. I'd like to see any forward do better than him with the current delivery in the forward line. Our midfielders are constantly bombing it in with no system, and surprise surprise, the defenders get back to help each other.

For anyone who bothers to notice, each time Neita got himself on a lead today and the midfielders didn't bomb it in, he took the mark each time and looked good.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
