Speaking of netball, I played at Melbourne High tonight and landed badly on my ankle.

I've had it on ice all night, but the way it feels at the moment I'm touch and go to be right for Sunday.

Irrespective of whether it comes up, I'll be at the game. Rollo, worst case scenario is you'll get that goal umpire we need.

If we have enough on the bench, we might rotate the boundry umpire role among the benchees. It'll keep us warm when not on the field.

Disappointing Wise...

Why did you need to mention Melbourne High? Surely the courts at that wonderful, wonderful Castle of education aren't to blame for your injury...

That's bad news Wise

Hope you can get it going for Sunday!

Big weekend for us. I'm trekking to Geelong tomorrow for the clash and am ready for Sunday as are my two mates (Trav & Dave).

Can't believe we have no boundary riders! Guys, bring along some mates of mates who are passionate for the Dees or if footy is their thing. We need them!

"I'm touch and go to be right for Sunday."

bloody hell, wise... :o:o

between you and cribbes and ruckle and madness...

it looks like a conspiracy to give poor old rollo a heart attack and an early grave...

btw, people, there is no after-match function organised yet...

sainters usual people are either unavailable or uncontactable...

I will keep trying...

also, wise, I assume you will post the final list on here ??

My ankle hasn't come up well today, but fingers crossed it'll be right to go on Sunday. I might have to play deep in the forward line to limit the mileage.

Blessed_Hands can ruck till Cribbes arrives, then they can rotate for the remainder of the match.

We're a couple of talls down now, but with a dozen available on the bench we might wait till we see who shows up on Sunday before finalising the line up.

Team as of Friday 15th Feb

FOL: Blessed_Hands | ?? | Imtoohot

INT: Fuzz, david, wrecker_whelan, jezzzza, hatchman, Scragg, mclean4brownlow, filth, stinga, ucanchoose, coxy, snake, Travis

"Final line-up..."

glad to see your ankle has come good, wise...

last reminder to all...

bring your own water (to start), sunscreen, and spare footy jumpers if you have them...

we haven't played at gosch's paddock before, but it sounds like footy boots will be fine, and players won't have to resort to alternative footwear...

that's a good-looking bench we have there...

It hasn't Rollo. I can't even run on it, let alone think about changing directions.

But I'll strap it up and give myself a last minute fitness test before kick off... with a little luck I'll be good for a cameo in the forward pocket.

Leaving Healesville now, see you all down there.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
