Seeing as it looks like we're about to snare Meesen from the Crows, what do you think we should do with our ruck situation.

Offload Jamar? Offload PJ? Or keep both and have four ruckman?

In other words who do you value higher, Jamar or PJ?

Posted

We keep them both, you need at least 3 ruckmen on your list. As to who i value higher PJ by a country mile, but i don't see his future in the ruck, i have feeling bailey has a plan for him and he could develope into something special. A CHB maybe or is he too slow, a CHF that stays close to home is my bet, 3 tall forwards nietz, newton, Johnson.

It depends if Bailey thinks PJ is actually a ruckman. IMO he isn't.

He is a tall who can take the occasional ruck contest, similar to Holland (and Nicho :P).

White has a year, maybe two left.

That means that we really only have 2 developing ruckmen on our list at the moment. That's not enough.

Having 4 ruckmen is completely acceptable, especially if some of these ruckmen can play in more than one position (can Meesen?)

At the risk of repeating myself:

White will be gone soon, so even if we pick up Meesen that only gives us three.

None have established themselves as second rucks, let alone first rucks.

Can we afford to get rid of anyone remotely like a ruck?

i read in the herald sun today that meesen was involved with another player in a sex scandel on myspace does anyone know more

Haha.

Meesen and another Adelade player both put a picture on one of their team mate's Facebook pages.

One of the pictures was a drawing of a penis with arms.

Serious sex scandal indeed.

haha i know i just wanted to make it blow up a bit

but why try to make a mountain out of a mole hill and spread rumours?

why say sex scandal when you clearly know what the issue was?

maybe my words were harsh or blunt, but beemas post was not required was it?

Deanox who are we to say whether a penis with arms is a sex scandal or not.

But in all seriousness his post was not required, but it wasnt harmful either, he was just stirring to see if he could get a response unfortunately for him it wasnt the type of response he wanted or expected.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
