well wat a year its been.. its been a long hard season but just glad the season is over and we can now move on to the new era of melbourne football club. the daniher era is now completley gone and a new look footy department has come on bored. dean bailey and chris connolly im sure are deemed to make a major impact for our fight for glory in 2008. if we can land chris judd then im sure the players wud wanna try and impress the great man to the fullist. trade week is sure gonna be intresting!! with news that promising ruckman john meesen set to arrive here im sure we will see more player depart this great club. i can see us moving places in the next 3 years if we can stay injury free and with the right player development. but now its all up to the players if they really wanna succeed to glory...

BRING ON 2008!!!

Bored already?

i got this hilarious mental picture of DB and CC strolling in the gates at the junction oval. CC yawns widely, they both stop mid step and turn and face each other. "how bout a coffee?" DB asks, and they turn around and stroll back out lol

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
