well they showed 30 seconds of footage of the meeting with the demons, did not speak to lyon or any one else either. At least not on 9 or 10

Well surely they will meet him at the MCG, and hopefully that will impress him a bit, but don't take him to junction oval.....PLEASE!

he knows the drill and has been to the junction oval many times

all the expectation is superciliousand, defeating the purpose ,as getting an expensive import is not always the be all end all.

remember " DIAMOND JIM TILLBROOK " anyone.

not to mention KELVIN TEMPLETON& PETER MOORE !!!where did the "TEAM finish ??

point 2; shane crawfords comment on the amount of $1.5 mill per.

what do you think the other 39 players are going to think and will they perform accordingly..

or just say to him on the field during a game "YOURE GETTING THE BIG BUCKS ,SO YOU GO GET IT" !

no-one at any team will get 1.5 million a year, thats Hutchison talking absolute [censored], more like 800,000 plus outside help in investments and sponsorship

I agree with you mate. In the Sydney Dailey Telegraph, they were talking about yesterday's meeting Judd had with the blues. Hello that was yesterday, today he was meeting with the demons. Probably they will talk about it tomorrow

Don't count on it sweetie <_< !!!

I doubt this would happen as Judd is a very well respected player and i think everyone knows why he is getting paid the big bucks.

Players also just shouldn't even be thinking about the faces of the players out there they should look at the jumper and that be all.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.

The Demons were sloppy all day and could not stop the run and carry of the fast moving Hawthorn as the Hawks cruised to an easy 36 point win. Is the season over yet?
