So Newton finally gets a game and it's over shadowed by Neil's departure. Pretty good way to keep a lid on things. At least if juice kicks a bag we cant be calling for the coach to be sacked for not playing him earlier...

    If Newton does kick a bag there'll be a lot of posters on these forums out of pocket. I just hope the kid beats his opponent, that's all you can ask of any Melbourne player, a couple of goals would be a bonus for him.

    I'm not expecting anything special from him tonight, it'll take at least a year of AFL footy before he will get anywhere near his best. At the very least he'll get an understanding of what's required to perform at the highest level.
