Todd Patterson, our AFLW List Manager, has accepted a role as Head of List Management and Strategy for the new Tasmanian team.

From the article he will be involved with their AFL, VFL, AFLW and VFLW lists.

Todd has been with the dees for 8 years, including the last 6 as list manager,so has been a big part of our AFLWs program including building the list that won the 2022 premiership.

That's a huge loss. I fear it is easy to underestimate the importance of the contribution of someone like Todd Patterson. He's done a great job.

On a personal level I've contacted Todd a few times as a fan over the years and ear-bashed him about various things, and he's always taken the time, and quite quickly, to reply in full with friendly, candid responses. I really hope both he and Brooke enjoy the move and wish them both great success and happiness in Tassie, outside of it impacting adversely upon the onfield success of the Dees, of course. 😆

I feel like an amateur fan compared to you, contacting the list manager to give an ear bashing is next level, respect!

They were friendly ear-bashings. 😁 More like questions and discussions, I've never had anything but respect for Todd. He was always extremely polite with me despite my unsolicited ramblings. 😆
