NSW Trainee?

Can anyone remember who our NSW trainee is?

They're old enough to play U18's Nationals and I wanted to see what he's like so a name would be greatly appreciated.

Teddy Strudwick

here is an interesting article about him

http://www.essendonfc.com.au/northshore2003/news.asp?nid=184

this site says he is playing off a half forward flank...

out of interest, from that club along with teddy, mathew long got signed with freo and simon davies with essendon. must be a bit of talent there...

Does anyone know the rules regarding this scholarship deal? A few questions I have about it are:

- Are we only allowed one kid on a scholarship at a time?

- If we are only allowed one scholarship recipient at a time, are we able to sever ties with them whenever we like (for instance, if we identify a player we deem to be a better prospect)?

- The article mentions that clubs will have the first option to select them at the rookie draft. Is this like a father/son pick where we would use a pre-determined draft selection, or does it work another way?

Pretty sure Collingwood are making a joke of the NSW trainee system.

Offering family holidays to the best NSW kids so that they sign with them...
