What a great listen, thank you @Demonland. My main take from this is that he and Jake Lever spend their off time cruising around like Batman and Robin.

I was thinking more like Rap Boy and Moon Man (Eminem and Dr Dre)

I’d LOVE to know if he opens up re back issue, and confirms it’s impacting his down ability but seemingly not his reaching up ability — prob 10% chance he will give the truth re the injury as club is extremely conscious of OPP exploiting it but if ANYONE owns it, it’ll be Maysy!!!

I would also really like to know his thoughts on how he’s feeling about Pies, Lions and how confident he is we will stack up and notably how he feels good clubs are exploring our ground-ball in D50 & why they all seems so supremely confident they can beat us by exploiting that and what club is doing to fix it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I’d like to know about any issues he has below his knees  but next time maybe

We are none the wiser on the dump kick from points to the left flank

is it his choice or a team plan perhaps based on the contest Gawn provides and crumbing thereafter?

Fantastic interview.  Seems like such a relaxed and genuine chap.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
