Dees V Cats

our delivery into the forwardline and the efforts by those in the forwardline is pissweak...we have smashed them in the centre clearances yet we are down by 4 goals...

worrying signs....thank god they couldnt kick straight or this could be an absolute BLOWOUT!!

come on dees....get back into the game

According to Bondy, we are just bombing into the forward line.....same as week 1 & 2!

Aparently Nathan Ablett got injured during the warm-up, Selwood has replaced him but i would've thought that if he comes out than that's it he's in.

who is on tomahawk?

We don't have anyone capable of playing on him, which is kind of embarrsing considering he is a 18 y/o.

Oh my god tomahawk again

bloody hell

hes kicked more then the whole melbourne side put together

1st mark inside forward 50 halfway through the 2nd quarter......scarey!

4 goals to Hawkins.....carving up Carroll.......even scarier!

Is there anyone that can hit a target for our forward 50. Sounds like Hawkins is having a buffet.

Melb 3.2.20

Geel 8.8.56

He's being taken off, thank god.

anyone else thinking about 2008 yet????

Yes we may have major injuries, but most are forwards and backs and yet its our midfield who are just terrible at the moment. No numbers at the drop of the ball and no tackling pressure that we did so well last year.

Cant belive ive waited since last september for this garbage.

This might seem like a silly question (the game isn't being broadcast up here) but is the ball actually getting to our forwards at all?

Dees 4 2 26

Geelong 9 8 62

Green gets his second

Who thinks daniher will last the whole year?

Green seems like the only forward presenting well today.

Melb 4.2.26

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
