I personally think this myth is debunked now. 

There will still be some disappointments like the Essendon loss as we r not a seasoned team as yet.

But we are no longer a joke.

    Funny you say that. I am actually getting a little bit annoyed at the constant referral to our inconsistency by commentators. We are pretty much the youngest side in the comp, yet have only had one shocker (Essendon) and one poor performance (St Kilda) in 9 games. If you compared that to the consistency of other young sides, it actually would stack up pretty well. St Kilda fluctuate far more than us, Brisbane fluctuated big time at the start of the year and are just downright horrible now.
