Tom McDonald and Dom Barry re-sign

Featured Replies

With Barry, they like what they see, and that is good enough for me. I was surprised, but then again he was selected ahead of Blease, Tappy, Michie

so something Dom is doing the club likes.

T-Mac was an essential signing. Everyone knows that Frawley will test the market and will get what he wants outside of Melbourne, meaning

we will probably be moving forward without him. To lose T-Mac and Chip in the same year would have been too much to overcome. This

signing gives us stability down back and options to draft another key defender to groom. Glad to see T-Mac back.

T-Mac development is on schedule, along with the rest of our young brigade. He's ahead of viney & others atmo. Juwst his kicking & decisions need to develop. but he's robust, tall, great runner & endurance.

And very coach-able. He'll lead our backline, in a couple of years.

the Chip has gone stale.
