The umpire said he was off his line and couldn't play on until he was back in line with the mark. Absolute BS call. If he's run off his line it's play on and the goal counts.

I agree with your comment...and add that the same thing happened not long after when Jamie Elliott took a mark around the 50m line in front of the MCC members. Except the umpire seemed not to care that Elliott played on before the umpire could "line him up".
