Has for years been very poor. Since the days of recruiting John Tillbrook we perennially have not got it right!. How can we have got so many high draft picks so wrong and yet Hawthorn produce success with mid twenty or lower draft picks which have tremendous immediate success?

    The question should be asked, How can Hawthorn continue to pick up mid 20 and higher draft picks and turn them into great players and be perennial finalists year after year and we can get it so horribly wrong?.

    I think I said it clearly some months ago and I hope that we have identified the remedy
