My son asked me f he can barrack for someone else after tonights game.

Killed me...but of course i said yes, because i cant handle seeing him so downhearted every week.

Grimes is going to need to make a fair few phone calls this week

He'd be better off to wait another fortnight.... then he'll be able to ring all the remaining supporters in an hour

On the day of my son's birth, almost 10 years ago, I rang the MFC and joined him up. First thing I did, before I rang mates and family. I dreamt of winters going to the 'G' with my Dad and my son, cheering our team on, enjoying the games together. This is what I get. Our loyalty means nothing to the club. They look like a club, talk like a club, but in the end, they are a football team and their job is to win games, or at least show us something. I can't allow my son to follow this bunch of losers, it's such a bad example in life, no effort, no improvement, no commitment, no passion, no heart, not one thing about the team or the club we can be proud of. His little mate barracks for Geelong. If we follow them, at least I can show him Joel Selwood, and how he goes about the game.

Jack Grimes once again stood up and put his body on the line for the MFC with a couragous mark and goal after being crucnhed and earning a 50 metre penalty.

I feel bad for him, the guy gives his all and bleeds for the MFC and is let down every time by the usual showboating fairy losers named Jamar and Sylvia.

first lesson as a captain - never promise something you cannot deliver. What a crap side we are.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
