    • Yes! Grimes is a star and he will take GWS to school this arvo, wise choice!

Will having Jack Grimes as my Supercoach CAPTAIN this week pay off?

After careful consideration, I decided that Grimes will absolutely dominate GWS today and make a good Supercoach captain, is this a wise move Demonlanders?

Put your vote in and your life on the line!

Would be nice if he finally hit the scoreboard.

He has 0 goals for season. Not that anyone's complaing.

It's just awesome to see him out there and it looks like he will play 20+ games for the first time ever.

I think Grimes will kill it today, I've overlooked Watson and elected Grimes as captain.

My finals hinge on it.

All you dirt bag Demonlanders should be voting on my poll, your all 'arm chair experts' at everything else,

but when it comes to putting yourselves on the line - your all scared little b*tches.

Big gamble, but you have to risk it to get the biscuit......

you think he will be the highest scorer in your supercoach team?

if you are right, it is a unique choice and will do you well.

most likly (and all respect the grimes) you will regret it. (not saying he wont score well, but there will be better scorers. even from melbourne i think, remember franklin is playing against gcfc)

I was worried they will sub him early... Plus, Clarkson cost me my first final last week when he made Suckling the sub and I lost by 10 points.

Not sure I understand the logic ? Are you saying you dont have a Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Boyd or Cox in your team ? If you do - you are expecting them to underperform compared to Grimes ? I have Grimes in my team but would not make him Captain or even vice captain.

If you need to jump in supercoach or dreamteam the risk you take is for instance - swapping out Pavlich and someone else and getting Buddy back in because you think Pav is gorn and Buddy will tear it up.

My big risks were in my initial selections - I picked undervalued injured players from last year and in the main they have done ok - Hayes being the standout, Lake, Porplesia (cant be bothered looking up the spelling), Cooney(meh), Clark ( coming back from O/S).

He's averaged 95 a game for the last 6!

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
