“Jake’s massive heart allows him to do some great things on the field” declared club cardiologist Nick Daffy.

“But an enlarged heart can result in serious health complications off-field. We are in the process of investigating, but believe it may be caused by a number of conditions including high blood pressure arrythmias and pulmonary hypertension.”

Daffy clarified that rumors circulating that King’s heart was “the size of Pharlap’s” were “not physically possible, given the size and depth of the human chest cavity”.

Daffy also diagnosed King’s condition as being the exact opposite of that experienced by Melbourne pair Colin Sylvia and Brent Moloney.

We can't escape it even the "Maggot" is in the know

I imagine some of the writers are MFC supporters themselves, so know only too well.

From another thread...

Hi guys - I just wanted to introduce myself, I am one of the writers of The Daily Maggot (formerly The White Maggot).

I just wanted to thank you guys for your support - we get our articles posted on Demonland quite regularly. As a daily reader of Demonland, I really appreciate it.

I am a Melbourne supporter (I am sure you can tell by the occasional Simon Godfrey or Issac Weetra reference). So if you guys have any ideas, please let me know.

Otherwise - I hope you keep enjoying the site.

Cheers
